Raxx's Story....
The call was put out for the RNZAF to perform a one-way journey through the heart of Goldilocks country and then deep into the heart of Kermit Land. The Greens had taken over the CV and they were fighting the Golds in a desperate bid to keep it. The RNZAF were mounting a sea level torpedo raid and would snatch the CV from the darstardly Gold Scumbags.
Did someone at the back say something about plans, mice and men?
The RNZAF Bomber Group and Heavy Fighter Group Assembled at Field 14

Arts and I made it back to field 16 in, (almost), one piece. Bard got hit in the fuel tank and had to swim back. I lost track of Nut- but the search teams went out and got him back.

Later the RNZAF got on to doing what they do best, capturing airfields...
The only problem we encountered was a lack of opposition at times and this made the boys real hungry for kills.....

Somehow we got the CV and this perfect landing by the CO, (k1w1), was caught on film.
The ensuing rumble over f2 was a red/green/purple and a hint of gold bash. Too many cons and so little time =). After that most of the squadron returned to their loved ones and I did much the same. A good afternoon run was only superceeded by an amazing evening run which I couldn't attend or document. Judging from the amount of mail recieved everyone enjoyed themselves except the fw190's that Nut- keeps chasing in the B25.
