Chupacabra R.C.C.

The subjects of Mexican mythology of centuries are very real indeed. The "Chupacabra" (Spanish for "Goat Eater") are alien creatures from another planet called Xerxesya (Pronounced Zerr-zayz-ee-ah). The race's true name is Xerxessians. They came to Earth through a rift but have extensive knowledge of Earth due to their space probes and scout ships that have been visiting Earth since the early Pre-Rifts 1400s. They are hideous humanoid creatures, with six arms and a 14 feet long scorpion-like tail. They have been known to wander around Mexico and Southwest America, eating the livestock of farmers in the middle of the night. These creatures are highly intelligent, very cunning, and very deadly. They have an extreme fear of bodies of water and will do anything to avoid them. These creatures average 12 feet in height and are covered in a dark gray leathery hide, with a head resembling that of a hornless, noseless bull's. They have huge black oval eyes and a large mouth filled with 2 inch long fangs. Their six hands have claws on their 5 fingers, averaging 5 inches in length. They walk upright when at a normal pace, and on their arms and legs when in a run. These creatures love birds of all kind and have been known to train them as pets. They have also been known to inhabit tall trees and caves in the sides of mountains. The Chupacabra do not breathe so they can travel in space openly without perishing. It is almost impossible to tell a live Chupacabra from a dead one due to the fact that they are also cold blooded. The Chupacabra will lay 1D4 eggs when they reach maturity (20-24 years old) without the need of a mate. These eggs will hatch about 2 weeks after being laid. The parent Chupacabra will then "mother" the infant Chupacabra for about 5 years before letting the Chupacabra decide what it will do with it's life. All Chupacabra are asexual. The infant Chupacabras appear as smaller (5 feet long) versions of the Adults and will not reach maximum weight and height until about 10 years of age. Wild Chupacabra usually travel in clans of 4D6x2 containing a Clan Leader (usually the largest one), 1-2 Shamans (those proficient in medicine) and 10-20 warriors. 90% of GTR's science team is composed of Chupacabra.

Alignment: Any. Majority lead towards Aberrant. Horror Factor: 13 Size: 10-14 feet (head to toes), 14 foot long tail, 24-28 feet long while in running stance. Weight: 700-1000 lbs Average Life Span: 150 years. P.P.E.: 2D10X10

Attributes: I.Q. 4D6+1, M.E. 5D6, M.A. 3D4+1, P.S. 2D6+4 (supernatural), P.P. 2D6+1, P.E. 3D6 (supernatural), P.B. 2D4, Spd 4D6 running, twice that flying. (I.e. Spd 20 running would be Spd 40 flying.)

M.D.C.: Base M.D.C. is 1D6X10+10. Add 1D4 M.D.C. per additional level.

Combat: 6 attacks per melee (without hand to hand bonuses), +2 to parry, dodge, and strike, +1 on initiative and +1 to roll with punch, fall, or impact.

Natural Weapons: Claws (1d4M.D.), Tail (2D4+5 M.D.), and Psionics (see below)

Chupacabra Abilities/Penalties: Psionic Powers: The Chupacabra has the following psionic abilities. Psionic flight (takes no I.S.P.), Alter Aura, Clairvoyance, Empathy, See Aura, See the Invisible, Sense Evil, Sense Magic, Total Recall, and Telemechanics. I.S.P.: 5D6+10, add 1D4X2 per level. Imitate sounds: The Chupacabra can imitate any sound it hears almost perfectly (95%), it can even mimic the volume and force. M.D.C. Recharge: The Chupacabra can "recharge" his lost M.D.C. by grabbing onto something (trees, power armor, the earth, other M.D.C. beings, etc.) and draining it's energy, causing equal Mega-Damage to the victim. Can absorb up to 1D4M.D. every 6 hours. Fear of Water: All Chupacabra's have a very intense fear of water. This fear is so bad that the Chupacabra will go into a mindless trance, killing anyone bringing it to water. Sometimes, it will even kill itself to avoid water. Blood Drinker: The Chupacabra cannot survive unless it drinks warm blood. It's blood of choice is that of farm animals (goats, horses, cattle, etc.). It will NEVER drink any avian, amphibious, or reptilian blood. It can last up to one week (7 days) one just one pint of blood. Commune with Avians: The Chupacabra can "speak" with any kind of bird or bird-related creature. This isn't actually speaking at all, it's more like the Chupacabra and the avians can read each other's thoughts (90%). Detect Water: This instinct lets the Chupacabra detect bodies of water (lakes, rivers, streams, etc.) within a two mile radius. Saving Throw Bonuses: +1 save vs Psionics, +7 save vs Mind Control (psionic, magical, and chemical), +2 save vs Magic, +40% save vs Coma/Death. No Magic: The Chupacabra cannot cast spells but are extremely fascinated by and will use Rune and TW devices.

Other Skills: Select seven other skills. Plus select an additional two skills at level 4, two at level 6, one at level 9, one at level 12, and one at level 14. Secondary Skills: The Chupacabra also gets to choose six secondary skills from those listed above. These are additional areas of knowledge that do not get any of the bonuses in parenthesis. All secondary skills start at the base level.

Equipment: Anything they can steal from victims and other people, or whatever they can buy with the money they gather from the victims.

Weapons of choice: Natural attacks or energy weapons.

Cybernetics: None.
