"BEYOND THE BEYOND" AND "ARC THE LAD ARE COMING TO AMERICA"

Febuary 9,1996: Beyond the Beyond will be the first RPG published by SCEA for North America, and is expected in June of 1996. As one travels through Beyond the Beyond, gateways open to reveal new worlds to explore and 3D battle sequences to conquer. Richly detailed, overhead maps, built entirely on texture-mapped and gouraud-shaded polygons are provided in the 3D worlds to assist gamers through their travles. A unique soundtrack will also entertain gamers. Arc the Lad is confermed by SCEA and will be released later in the year. Arc the Lad will include over 60 different types of monsters, and will have more than 50 spells that will be a visual treat to gamers. The game features two soundtracks performed by the London Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. Available NOW

SCEA AND UNIVERSAL INTERACTIVE STUDIOS SIGN WORLDWIDE LICENSE FOR "CRASH BANDICOOT"

March 21,1996: SCEA and UIS are announcing today that Crash Bandicoot will be released worldwide. Crash Bandicoot was created and developed by Naughty Dog, Inc. Exec. Vice Pres. for SCEA Bernie Stolar said. "Crash Bandicoot stood out because of its great graphics, ingenious character design and innovative controls." Available NOW

SCEA TO PUBLISH SQUARE CO.LTD'S FIRST ENTRY INTO FIGHTING GAMES

May 16,1996: Square Co. Ltd., A developer known for their numerous RPG'S inc. the popular series Final Fantasy, is venturing into a new catagory of games. Tobal No.1 is Square's first new Fighting game for the Playstation. Tobal No. 1 will be a true 360 degree fighting game. Much like VF or Tekken. It's Available NOW
