Andretti racing seems to have become an "EA Sports-styled racer". Likewise, the entertainment division of EA found a hit with their realistic Need for Speed. They decided to make Need For Speed 2 (NFS2).
By choice, they've dumped their old Road and Track license (Saves on money to goto the Car maker than pay for the R&T liscense).
Some of last year's cars were quite exotic. But according to EA, you ain't seen nothin' yet. NFS2 has these cars you can race.
Ferrari, McLarenF1 Isdera Commendatore, Jaguar XJ220, Lotus Esprit V8, Ford GT90, Italdesign Cala, and a Lotus GT1.
The new tracks are worldwide. You'll be racing in such areas as Australia, the Greek Isles, and the Himalayas, just to name a few. EA claims the game will feature 50% more Polygons, a full 360 degree point of view, a bigger and better pack, as well as the return of the coveted 2-player split-screen. So if you need more speed. Then you got Need For Speed 2 speeding your way.
