SquareSoft has for some some time announced that they will be releasing a version of Final Fantasy 7 for Playstation and possible for the computer. While FF7 is already released in Japan there is not word yet on the release in the U.S. This enormous game will take up two full C.D.s and will contain some of the best graphic ever seen in a video game let alone a RPG. SquareSoft will once again prove themselves to be the master of RPG creation. As you can see from the pictures on this page, SquareSoft has really outdone themselves in the graphic department. I hope that the extraodrinary graphic do not take away from the superior game play Square is know for. But judging from their various accomplishments, it has been known that SquareSoft has always suceeded in producing breathtaking games. Look at the character Barett below and you might notice that he has and gun-like weapon on his air, which is not typical Final Fantasy material. There modes of transportation range from the easily recognized Chobo to their awesome looking airship Wind and the to Cloud state of the art motorcycle. Final Fantasy 7 is a new kind of FF game utilizing some more futuristic instead of medieval magical items. There is no doubt that when FF7 releases in the U.S. Square fans will not be disappointed. I
don't object to any of the SquareSoft games I love them because they are the best RPGs you can obtain anywhere. What angers me is that few of the games reach the US and the ones that do, they have already been in Japan for months. Why hasn't SquareSoft marketed games like Final Fantasy 4,5.or 6 and will they ever sell Final Fantasy 7 here? I feel cheated because I have to wait before Square can decide if they want to sell the game here. I am anxiously waiting the arrival of FF7 and can only wait to see when it arrives.
