| The Super Nintendo hit has finally moved into 64-bit real-time gameplay. Only two similar looking levels have been shown that consist of grassy plains with rollling hills and many obstacles. One level the player uses Fox McCloud's ship and another that makes use of the new tank. There are at least three weapons included with the vehicles, consisting of gunfire, missiles, and the barrel roll fire. The opening of the game looks awesome with a scene of Fox McCloud and the rest running to the fighters during a red alert. I saw this on a quicktime movie somewhere and it looks cool. This game will probably have around 15 levels and is due to ship about May. The game will also take advantage of the new Jolt Pack. The Jolt Pack gives a jolt everytime Fox McCloud's ship is hit. It sould like a cool attachment to the game. The game is very fast paced and can run in real time thanks to the speed of the Nintendo 64 and the cartridges. As has been the current way with Nintendo games, this game will probably sell for about 70 and the game is worth saving for. When this game finally does hit the stores make sure you reserved your's or there won't be any left. |
