Updates
Been a long time since I've updated, I've been real busy lately. I've now got the order, life, death, fire, and air pages re-done. I'm working on Water, and Earth and Chaos are next. They should be up soon. I also cleaned up a little, no one bothered to remind me I still had up a bugs page, even though they are no longer bugs. Another small change, I changed the title to Welcome to The Lords of Magic Tower. It makes it seem a little more friendly, don't you think. :)

Updates
I got some new info on the spell changes today, I'll get them up ASAP. It'll probably be a few days. I've also finished redoing the life page. 3 down, 5 more to go. Ugh. Another track meet tonight stopped any work I could have done.

Updates
I finished up all the comparisons pages, complete with ratings and such. Check them out. I also got a new map from Thorz, based on the Shannara world. I've never read the books, so I don't know how well it is made. Someone should make a map of Krynn. That'd be cool. I also added a lot to the order and air faiths pages. I'm planning on changing all of them, I just haven't had the time yet. Tell me what you think of them. I need to get some pictures too. That will just about finish them off.

Starcraft
This has nothing to do with LOM, but here it is anyway. The first review I've seen for starcraft is out here. They give it pretty good marks. 93% rating overall. Also, I have seen that Starcraft may come out on Playstation, though they aren't sure yet. I heard the same thing for War2 some time ago, but never saw anything, did that ever go through?

New and Old Surveys
Finally quit the old survey, got a new one up. Start the voting on it. I also messed around with the old surveys page. I put up the total votes, and percentage of votes the winner got. Most of them have averaged 33%, except the best class. The mage won with 62% of the votes. That's a definite winner. Check out the page.

Comparisons
I've gotten the rest of the maxed out lord stats from Feadhel, who got them from the Prima guide. I still need the other levels for them, to put on the regular pages. I'll get up the rest of the lords as soon as I can. Probably tomorrow or Wednesday.

Updates
I put up the comparisons pages, they are just an easier way to compare units than going to all the faith's pages. I still need a lot of stats for lords, I've collected all I could so far. That's about it for the evening, nothing much actually going on.

Updates
I got a new version of middle earth, and another new map. Also, I'm working on a page that compares each faiths and units stats. I'll put them up soon, I've only got the thieves done, but warriros and mages are close. I also need stats for all the lords except paladin lord, elven thief lord, and amazon warlord. I'd like to be able to compare each of these too. It will be an easier way to see which faith has the best lord.

2.02 released
LOM version 2.02 is released. Download it here if you already have 2.0. (122 Kb) Download it here if you need it with 2.0. (6.4 Mb) It fixes some video problems with the 2.0 patch.

Updates
I got a new map, Middle Earth. It is from J.R.R. Tolkien's Lords of the Rings trilogy. Download it from my maps page. Also, I noticed a few bugs today. When you autocalc after summoning spirit warriors, they stay with you. When you autocalc after possessioning, the unit goes back to the enemies control, and you tie the battle. It doesn't die or come under your control. Also, I saw my first renegade Thunder drake today. It came up to my order stronghold, and it took 3 mages to kill it. Luckily it was alone. Only one more day to spring break! Then I'll get a bunch of time to play LOM. :) Here's a pic I took when just about to kill Balkoth. He's in some serious trouble. :)

Updates
I finally put up the webring logo at the bottom, if you want to join, click on the name. So far there are only 2 sites. I need some more. I'll put up an image soon for the logo, until then, it'll just be text. Sorry for the lack of updates lately, I've been rather busy. I had a track meet last night, a 5:15 mile and 11:26 2-mile. Not bad times for the first race of the season.

Updates
I got the newest version of FLOMFE today. It works on 2.0. I've also added 4 maps to the maps page. Check them out. I haven't tried them yet, so I don't know how they are. I haven't had much time to mess with the webring, I'll get to it eventually.

Webring
I got the webring started, but the images are rather crappy right now. I'll work on them when I get time. The index of all the sites is here. To add your site, go here. Please inform me of any problems you have with the code. You can check out the current logo at the bottom of the page.

Updates
Nothing new today, I've been busy. It's too nice outside to stay in and work on a web page. Anyways, I'm going to make up a Lords of Magic Web Ring. I should be able to register it tonight, and I'll make a sign up sheet for all of you with LOM pages. I've also added 2 maps. There is also a qualifications list on the maps page, so you know what I need from you.

New LOM version released!!!

The newest version of the patch is available. It is 6.4 megs in size. Download it here at the LOM Net Guide. I guess Sierra's not putting it out yet, I searched for 20 minutes looking everywhere for it, and couldn't find it. Download it now!!!

Updates
Not much updated tonight, I finally added the what's new in 1.04, though apparently they are calling it 2.0. I'll have to change that. Since the patch is an .exe file, it doesn't have a readme file, but I've copied the one they sent with the beta copies, so it's all there. I couldn't get much else done, half my county lost power for about 3 hours today. Even got out of school early. That was pretty cool. I added the links for the patch on my files page, up above and in the news section, so you have no excuse not to download it.

Updates
I couldn't get on Geocities to update last night, so last night's stuff is with todays. First off, I've made a maps page. I wasn't going to because of disk space, but now I've suddenly got 6 megs of space instead of 3. Not that I'm complaining. I don't have any maps up, but anyone who has any, please send them in. Also, I created a hot keys page. It's got all the ones from the game, plus some newer ones for the patch. Sort of a way around actually saying anything about the patch. Also, I need more ICQ numbers. I know you all have them, so send them in. If I ever get on (I'm having dload troubles) I'll try to hook up with you. Also, I've created the new features page, but I can't upload it yet. It is ready and waiting though. And finally, I got bored yesterday, not being able to update, so I alphabetized the links on the left. Except for the intro and faiths. Can you say "Too much free time?"
I got the 3rd version of the patch today, but it wasn't working right. I'm not sure what's up, but I have no buttons. I can't hire units, save, load, or exit games without the keyboard. I hope they get this fixed soon, I'd like to start up a new game.
One more thing before I go. There is a new LOM page out. Cathal's Lords of Magic Page. I don't have the link written down, but it is in my links page. Check it out, it's pretty good, and he has started a clan. I'm not sure what it will do, but it is an original idea.

Beta
From a post by Jeff Fiske on the LOM Net Guide Discussion Forum, I noticed that he said the patch will most likely be out by the end of the month. That is 8 more days until you all get the patch.

Updates
The end is in sight. The beta testing is almost over, and the patch should be made public very soon.
There is a new LOM page, Balathustrius'LOM Page. He hasn't done anything yet, but it will be up soon.
Next thing on my list: A page detailing the new features in 1.04. I'll put up everything new, and all the fixes. I won't be able to upload it until the beta is out, or maybe the day before if I'm lucky, but it should be ready then.

Updates
I finally got around to changing my survey. It's now the best temple unit. The last one is stored on my old surveys page, and the winner was possession, by 2 votes over inferno. There isn't really a whole lot of news, I've been testing the beta and there are still a few problems, but they are being worked on.

LOM Themes
For those of you interested in themes, 2 have been made for LOM. They are available at the LOM Net Guide. The guy who made them offered them to me about a month ago, but I only have 3 megs of disk space on Geocities, so sorry, I couldn't put them up. But now they are out, so you can dload them. I don't have plus, nor any interest in themes, so I don't know anything about them.

Earth
When I first played LOM, I picked Earth, I'm not sure why, but they looked interesting. I got crushed. The slowness and patience needed just blew me away. (If you're wondering where this is going, I'm not quite sure.) Anyways, I started up a new game today, when I got the newest version of the patch. I decided to play as an Earth warrior. Wow! What a difference from what I remember. I took the units I started with, conquered my temple on turn 2, and took over 3 level 1 structures in a row, w/o losing any units. (it's on medium difficulty) Those warriors rock! I just defended myself and let them beat on me while my axe throwers took them out from behind. Plus, if they do get close to your axethrowers, you've got enough defense to hold them off. I definitely think the warriors are the best in the game. Those mage spells, although not good for attacking, can make an already formidable warrior almost invincible.

Updates
I got the newest version of FLOMFE. It works on version 1.03. I can't test it because I'm on the beta, so anyone who tries it out, report any problems. I wrote five pages of my term paper tonight, and I'm worn out. It's all due next week, so I gotta get that finished. I wanted to start up the ICQ listing page, but haven't had time. Anyone who wants their number put up, send it in. I lost all the ones anyone has sent me already though.

BTW
By the way, I would like to thank everyone out there who visits my page. Yesterday, on my birthday, I hit a new record for number of hits in one day. What a great b-day present from you all. Thanks a lot, and I hope you keep visiting the Tower.

Another lawsuit
Yet another lawsuit has come about. This one has actually been filed. It is against Origin Systems, specifically Ultima Online. They claim that due to lag and system crashes it doesn't meet the qualifications claimed on the box, that it creates a gaming world, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The story is up at Gamespot, here. I haven't gotten a chance to read it yet, so I can't tell you much about it.

FYI: ICQ
A number of people have mailed me asking for my ICQ number. Guess what? I'm not on it. I've been meaning to, but I haven't got around to doing it yet. I'll be up soon enough, then I'll make an ICQ listing page. Until then, sorry. You'll have to rely on e-mail to talk to me. Or on IRC. I'm usually on DALnet, at channels #dragonlance, #games, or #games_room. I rarely have time to get on during the week, but weekends I'm always on, late-night eastern time.

Updates
Happy Birthday to me, I'm now 18 yrs. old. Yippee. I don't feel any different. Anyway, on to the updates.
I've been playing the beta some, and I have found it to be quite entertaining. The game speed is slightly increased, but I don't notice too much. I like kicking some Balkoth butt, and then going on when he is dead. I still haven't tried out the editor, I'm not really into making maps. I tried once, but it really sucked. Maybe I'll try out some later.

Updates
I got my copy of the beta last night, and everything is working correctly so far. Thieves have been improved greatly. I actually hid in a battle against 2 others, and I was right in front of them. I haven't tried the editor yet, I may get to that later tonight. I'm not sure how much I'm allowed to say, so I'll just keep my mouth shut.
