World of Balance

Make Magic quickly

The best place to make Magic Points quickly is on the Triangle Island on the World of Balance. You will meet Intangir there. He is asleep but you can wake him up with magic. He gives you 10 MP. Use Doom on Intangir to kill him.

Atlas Armlet

 You can find a Atlas Armlet in Mt.Kolts. You can find it on the second cave. In this cave there is a long bridge. Don't go on it. Go to the wall on the right side of the bridge. Walk to the edge and go throu the secret pass on the right. You will find Atlas Armlet there.

Genji Glove

 You can get Genji Glove in Returner's Hideout. When Banon asks you if you will help them you say no. Then go and talk to a soldier inside and he will give you Genji Glove.

Chainsaw

 There is a big clock in Zozo. If you choose the right time you will get Edgar's Chainsaw. Go and talk to everyone in the town and they will say a time. The time nobody says is the right one. Do not trust the citizens of Zozo. The time is 6:10:50.

Tintinabar

 If you help the wounded man in Mobliz you will get Tintinabar. Go and talk to him and send the message to his girfriend. You can send the message by a old man i the same village, Mobliz. It will cost you 500 Gp. Go and talk to the Relic shop owner. When you have done that you can go back to the wounded man and he got a new message. Give this message to the old man for 500 Gp and go to the Relic shop owner and talk to him. Do this five times then he would give you Tintinabar. This would cost you 2500 Gp (500 GP each message). First you send her a letter, then you send her a record, then a tonic, after that a letter again and at last a book.

Find Mog

You can find Mog in the World of Balance. When you can fly the airship, fly to Narshe. Go to a house with treasures to the east. The house where you found a chest you couldn't open. When you enter the house you find a guy called Lone Wolf. Chase him up to the mountains where you begun the game with Terra. You will find Wolf with Mog as hostage. Press X to get to the inventory. Wait some seconds and Mog will get free. Save Mog from Wolf and he will join your party.

Water Rondo

 Water Rondo is one of Mog's Dances. It is hard to find. If you want it you should first get Mog in World of Balance.
When you have Mog you should fly to Crescent Mountain in the Veldt. Enter the cave and jump in Serpent Trench as you did in the beginning but with Mog this time. Here you can learn Water Rondo. When you land in Nikeah enter the town. Go to the dock and take the ship to Town of South Figaro. When you get there go to Returner's Hideout. Jump in the waterfall and ride the raft. You land near the Phantom Forest. Go throw this forest and go to Baren Falls. Jump in the waterfall and you have reched the Veldt where your airship is.

Memento Ring

 You can get Memento Ring in Strago's house in Thamasa. Go upstairs and go to the left corner by the table and chairs. Face the wall down and press A button.

Hero Ring

 You can find a Hero Ring in a house NorthWest of the map. The house is at the same place as the Colosseum, but in the World of Balance. Look in a bottle.

MagiTek Factory

 You will find many items in MagiTek Factory. You will see a rolling hoop which goes down and then to the right. Jump of this rolling hoop when you can and go down to the right. There is a false wall. In the other side you will see many boxes. Go upstairs to the boxes and go between two boxes to a pipe. You can enter the pipe and it leads you to a room with two chests. You will find Blizzard and Zephyr Cape in them.

You could also find Gold Armor and Gold Helmet in MagiTek Factory. Go to the long hall. Search for secret doors down on this hall.

Break Blade

You can find Break Blade in MagiTek Factory in Vector on World of Balance. When you are in the corridor where you can see empty glass tubes (the room before you meet Cid and the espers), you can go down to the left and find a hole in the wall you can't se. There is a hidden chest.

Better treasures

When you goes from Figaro Castle to South Figaro in World of Balance you should leave the chests unopen. Later in the game, in World of Ruin, you can get better things in them.

Secret treasure

 On the second basement in South Figaro (on Locke's Scenario) you shall go right down from the chest and press A button. There is a secret chest with a Ribbon.

Bring Shadow with you

When you go from Narshe to Kohlingen in World of Balance in the beginning (when you are searching for Terra), you shall only take along three charaters on your party. You'll meet Shadow on the bar. If you pay him he will join you on your party.

Secret basement

In South Figaro when you play Locke's Scenario you should go to the hall where Celes holds captive. Go down and search after a opening on the wall. You can find a secret basement with valuable items.

Returner's Hideout

 In the Returner's Hideout you shall go to the room with three chests and some boxes. Go to the right of the boxes. There is a hidden passage. At the end there is a chest with White Cape.

Floating Island

When you are going to search for the Floating Island, you will only choose three characters in the party because you'll meet Shadow there. If you choose Celes you will only have three characters when you escape the Floating Island, because Shadow will not be on your party then. But if you don't choose Celes she will come to you and you have four characters in your party.

Save Shadow

If you want to save Shadow on the Floating Island you shouldn't jump to your airship. Wait for him. When it is five seconds left he will come.
