Records of Lodoss War

Welcome to my Lodoss section! I started loving Records of Lodoss War after watching a Japanese original version of the first issue. I was amazed to see how it looked like the roleplaying games I loved, and soon I realized that I was also in love with Deed, Parn, and all the other characters! Here they are:

Deedlit
Deedlit is an high elven maiden, with long pointed ears. She is quite young, being only 160 years-old. She actually is a shaman and possesses great magical powers, but is also a well trained fighter. She respects nature above all.She tries to convince herself that she joined the party because she wanted to be an adventurer, but the true reason is that she fell in love with Parn from the start. She is always happy and becomes irritated when someone doesn't care about her.

Parn

Parn is the enthusiastic, fearless leader of the party, and he was asked by King Farn to look for Wort, one of the six legendary heroes. He was born in the village of Zaxxon, in Allania, and he is honest, impatient, impulsive and a bit jalous. He is also firm, secure and loyal to his king and to his friends. He wishes to became a paladin of Vallis, like his father Tethlis. Even if at the beginning of the chronicle he isn't really a good fighter, the training with king Kashu made of him a nearly unbeatable fighter. At the end of the story he will grow up and will accept for the irst time his love for Deedlit.

Eto
Eto is Parn's best friend, and he's a Priisto, a novice cleric of the goddess Faris. He is able to cure wounds with his Priisto Magic and fights quite well, with his special weapon, the Mais. He is responsible, wise and patient. Even if he's a bit shy, he is able to lighten even the most difficult situations. When he meets Fianna, king Farn's daughter, he falls in love with her. They will marry and he will become the new king of Vallis.

Gim
Gim is a valorous dwarf. He lives in the village of Taba, in the land of Allania. He doesn't speak too much, but in the end he's generous and kind. He prays the goddess Marfa and started adventuring after the high priestess Nice asked him to find her beloved daughter Laila, who was prisoner of Karla. He eats a lot and loves fighting, and will be Parn's spiritual father until his love for Nice will lead him to sacrifice himself, to kill the Grey Witch.

Slayn
Slayn is a Sosara, a 25 years-old mage. His true name is Slayn "Star seeker", and he is looking for the Star of Reason, an internal luminiscent essence. Even if he looks unexperienced and really young, he is a great wizard nad will save his party from numerous attacks. He will have a love-story with Leila, Nice's daughter.

Woodchuck

Many people call him "Wood",but his true name is Jay Lancart. He could be easily defined a thief, but he prefers to be addressed as "scout". He doen's believe firmly in the other people and has a natural inclination toward treason. He likes gaming and he often cheats. He joined the party, in Allania, to become very rich and powerful, and he will be possessed by Karla.
