This was my first RPG I played for the Super
Nintendo. Actually it was the first Role Playing
Game I ever experienced. I went to E.B.
(Electronics Botique) expecting to get Street Fighter 2
Turbo, Donkey Kong Country, Madden, or some crap
game like that but I decided on Mana. I came home and instantly fell in love. The opening music
is AMAZING!! Best opening I've heard for
a Squaresoft game. Also, the graphics when I
recieved the Mana Sword blew me away!! I don't
think I left the T.V. for about 8 hours. From the time I
found the Mana Sword to the final showdown
with the Mana Beast in the end, it was pure enjoyment. This was the game that made me fall in love with Square.


I made a rating system for when I review PSX games (If I ever get to it). Its gonna take me awhile to get those reviews up so I decided to use it here. These are my personal ratings for Secret of Mana:
