Play as Gaia, Sho, and Cupido:
At the title screen, with the words "Press Start Button" flashing, press Up, Down, X, B, A, Y, C, Z, Start. Now, at the fighter select screen, the two bosses Gaia and Sho are selectable to the far right. To select Cupido, put the cursor over Sho, press and hold UP, and press X. Cupido should appear and is playable. Note: You can play as the bosses in every mode except story mode.
Big Head Mode:
To play the game with some seriously big heads, hold down the top L and R buttons at the title screen with the game options ("Story Mode," etc.). Keeping the buttons held down, pick a fighter. When the match starts, there will be super deformed fighters.
Different Camera Angles: To check out the fight using different camera angles, start a game and pause it. While the game is paused, enter the "Options" menu. While in "Options" highlight anything except "Exit." Press and hold L, move the cursor to "Exit," and press R. Now you can check out the different angles using the following buttons:
Button Z: zoom out
Button Y: zoom in
Button L: spin left
Button R: spin right

At the title screen with the words "Press Start Button" are flashing, press any of the following quickly:(Note you must enter the cheats in the following order).
Play as Wolf and Relpi:
Press A, B, Z, X, Y, C. The "1P Game" option should turn yellow. The boss characters Wolf and Repli have been added to the lineup of playable fighters.
Two-Button Overdrive Moves:
Press A, Z, C, X, B, Y. The "1P Game" option should turn blue. Now you can execute overdrive moves by simultaneously pressing Z and C.
Play as Sho and Vermilion:
Press A, Y, C, X, B, Z. The "1P Game" option should turn red. The hidden characters Sho and Vermilion have now been added to the lineup of playable fighters.
URA Option 2:
Press A, X, Y, Z, C, B. Then, at the next screen, go to "Options." Press and hold R, and press A. Now there are several new options, including no ring outs and other cheats.
Black Fire
Watch All Video Sequences:
At the title screen when the words "Press Start Button" are flashing, press Z, A, Z, A, B, A, B, Y, C, A, C, A. The game will show all the video sequences. Press Start to skip any video sequence.
Do the following cheats at the title screen when the words "Press Start Button" are flashing.
Stage skip:
Press and hold C, then press and hold B, then press and hold A, then press and hold Up, then press and hold L. Release A, then C, then L, then Up. A voice will say, "Black hole engaged." Now you can activate the cheats during play. To go back one level, press and hold A, B, C, and Up. Then press L. To go forward one level, press and hold X, Y, Z, and Up. Then press L.
Infinite fuel & weapons:
Press L, A, Z, Y, A, Down, Down. You'll hear a voice say, "There she is! Beans and bullets on the way!" To restore fuel and ammo during gameplay, pause the game and unpause it by pressing Start. When you unpause the game, fuel and ammo will be refilled.
Invincibility:
Press and hold A, then press and hold B, then press and hold C. Then release C, then B, then A. Next, press B, A, B, Y, press and hold X, press Up, press and hold Down, and then release X. A confirming voice will say, "Youºre on the wrong team." When you start the game, your chopper is invincible!
Bug
Stage Skip:
At the Start/Option screen, press B, A, B, Y, Down, Right, A, Left Shift, Down. You hear a "yip." Start the game and simultaneously press Up and L to go to the next level.
