Can-Am Racing was founded on 2-5-00 in a joint effort between 3 Canadian and 2 American NASCAR 3 racers to try to pool knowledge for the game NASCAR 3...Other games may follow, as this is primarily a test-run for the team. Currently there are only five members, with more possibly to follow in the coming weeks. New members will be given the opportunity to try out for Can-Am with any or all of the founders, however a unanimous vote is required by the co-founders in order to obtain membership.

First and foremost , this team will start out small and see what develops. The main reason for having a team is so that you have dependable persons in online races which can give you a hand when you need it. Drafting partners are few and far between online, and most go for the solo effort. Also, more pairs of eyes on the track can make you aware of people not quite up to speed or ability, and help you to adjust your line accordingly when getting near them. Perhaps the most important thing however will be the sharing of lines, setups, and tips between team members. This information can become indespensible on certain tracks, as one driver might not have the car feeling quite right.

Practice sessions will be determined shortly, with the schedule being posted here at some time. Also, depending upon how things go, we may eventually form a league around Can-Am, but that is yet to be determined...
