This is a Reaper Knight Templar Standardbearer. I've always been afraid of trying freehand work, so I decided to face my fear! I found a woodcut design on the web of a dragon-griffon creature, and sat at my painting table with a printout of it. Most yellow paints are fairly translucent, I went around this by mixing a very opaque orange with my yellow and using this when I painted the yellow parts, then doing the highlights on the yellow parts with my yellow paints. 2002
