Setup and Configuration Screen

Program Setup and Configuration is an easy task.

Change Flight Simulator© Program Location

After clicking this button make selections from the Drive, Directory, and File listings until the correct path to the Flight Simulator startup program file; FS5.EXE (v5.0), FS5.COM (v5.0a and v5.1), or FLTSIM95.EXE (FS6) is selected.

Change Background / Clear Background

After clicking this button make selections from the Drive, Directory, and File listings until the image file (Windows Bitmap, Metafile, or RLE) you want to display as a background image for all screens is selected.

If the program slows down too much after selecting a background image click the 'Clear Background' button to go back to a grey background. See the accompanying Help file for a discussion on what image file attributes will work best.

Flight Shop/FS Converter Installed

The 'Flight Shop Installed' or 'FS Converter Found' box will be checked if BAO's Flight Shop™ program or the Microsoft Flight Shop Converter has been installed. The status is updated automatically.
