What's the deal with this page?

Well, it goes like this. Binary files are cool, there's no debating that.
However, rec.games.pinball, a discussion newsgroup, is not designed to
handle binary traffic. Though it is often more convenient to simply post
a binary file to the newsgroup, it is frowned upon for a number of reasons
that I won't go into here (unless I have to).
The birth of this page is my attempt to keep rec.games.pinball nice
and friendly, and clear of binary images (and binary image flamewars).
So, if you have any binaries that you'd like to make available to the
world at large, you may Email them to me at
ung@filenet.com
and I will post them here. If it is fairly sizable, it's polite to
send me Email notification first, and get confirmation, before you
dump several megabytes of data in my inbox. Note also that this site
is limited to 2mb, and I will age stuff out as necessary, but will
try to make sure everything stays up for at least a week. This
really shouldn't be a problem.
If you own the rights to anything posted here and wish for it to be
removed, please Email me below.
