In it's brief eight months of updates it matured into a fair site, ending with about 13,000 hits. I ceased maintaining the site mainly because I wasn't into Street Fighter enough to put the effort in. Between then and now, I've restarted the site over a dozen times. This version has actually made it off my hard disk and onto the web, so I'm very happy. Even better, it's getting hundreds of hits each day, which I never expected, so the pressure is on to make this site better and better. The purpose and structure of this site differs a little from most sites. While others concentrate on the latest news and strategies, my focus is the long term goal: providing the Grand Archive of artwork, profiles, and information. Of course, all the latest news and tactics will still be available, but it won't be my primary goal. The making of...All these pages are completely hand written in Windows notepad. All the images are made with Paintshop Pro, in various versions including version 6 registered. I use CuteFTP for uploading and it's kindly hosted by the advertising prone yet user friendly and rather fast Yahoo! Geocities. It uses all sorts of funny stuff like CSS, Javascript and copious amounts of tables, so it's likely it will look wonky on a lot of machines. It's tested on Windows 95, in 640x480 to 1024x768, in IExplore 4.0 and Netscape 4.0. You should be aware that Netscape is full of CSS and Javascript related bugs and as such this site looks better in IExplore. This is my formal protest against Netscape: RELEASE NAVIGATOR 6.0 ALREADY! Netscape has so many dumb bugs and glitches I've totally converted to IE. Even the bug feedback applet crashes. Netscape loads Javascripted pages very slowly. THIS SITE LOOKS CRAP IN NETSCAPE. Good thing about half of you are using IE4, and another 25% are using IE5... Kudos to youThanks to all the great Street Fighter people online, particularly Kao Megura (God of FAQs), Gouki (for setting the challenge), and all the FAQ writers. A big thank you to Tavish of Negative Edge for your help, wherever you are. Other choice sites in the links section. Lastly, thanks to Capcom for the greatest gift to fighting games ever, and in their immortal words, thank YOU for playing. Hello to Matt, Pudd, Dal, and any other Aussies out there. Matt, I'm better than you, and I always will be. ...and me.
Me? I'm Ken. For real, not named after Mr. Masters.
I'm at Uni, which is great because I get plenty of time to
waste on my humble site. I live in Adelaide, Australia, which
is about the worst place to live if you want to make an up-to-date
Street Fighter site. Outside games,
I also like drawing, and graphic and web design.
