Sensible Soccer '98 12.7 MB
* * *
Sensible Soccer '98 is a soccer game from Sensible Software. It has SVGA graphics and supports Windows compatible sound cards for sound effects. In this game you control your team from an overhead perspective. The control is very simple using only keys to move the player around, to kick the ball, and to steal it from the other team. The cost of this simplicity is more difficult control though. You can play one game for three minutes or until one team scores a goal in this demo. Two player games are supported on one computer simultaneously. Requires: Pentium 133+, 16MB RAM, DirectX 5.0. For Windows 95.
Game, Net & Match! 22.7 MB
* * * * *
Game, Net & Match! is a tennis game from Media Games and Blue Byte that has 3D accelerated or SVGA graphics and supports Windows compatible sound cards for sound effects. This tennis game goes beyond others by giving you much more control over the shots. Instead of having just one button control the ball, you have buttons to hit the ball hard, lob it, just hit it over the net, and to spin it left or right. This control makes it much easier to hit the shots that you're trying for. In this demo you can practice as much as you want against the ball machine and you can play one match for 25 minutes - plenty of time for you to finish a match. Two player games are supported on one computer simultaneously. You can also play across a TCP/IP network or on the Internet using Blue Byte's servers. Direct3D compatible and 3Dfx based 3D cards are supported. Requires: Pentium 133+, 16MB RAM, DirectX 5.0. For Windows 95.
Microsoft Baseball 3D 16.5 MB
* * * *
Microsoft Baseball 3D 1998 Edition is a baseball game from Microsoft and WizBang! Software Productions that has 3D accelerated graphics and supports Windows compatible sound cards for sound effects. This game has polygonal players that look like the players they are supposed to represent. You can set the difficulty of the computer as well as how much control you want over your own players. You can control as little as just the pitching and not have to worry about where you're aiming the swing, or where the batter is positioned in the box. Or you can take control of all of the fielding, base running, batting including aiming and positioning as well as pitching. This trial version lets you play up to two innings at Coors Field using the All Star players. Two player games can be played on the same computer. A Direct3D compatible 3D card is required to play this game. Requires: Pentium 133+, 16MB RAM, DirectX 5.0, Direct3D Card. For Windows 95.
FX Fighter Turbo 10.3 MB
* * *
FX Fighter Turbo is a 3D fighting game from GTE Entertainment that has VGA graphics and supports Windows compatible sound cards for sound effects. Two characters are available in this demo. Two player games are supported on one computer. Requires: Pentium 60+, 8MB RAM. For Windows 95.
