Story
The narcissistic kickboxer Benimaru attended the same school as Kyo. He was smug in his good looks until Kyo began attracting some of the women around. Benimaru challenged Kyo to a fight, and they met in the national finals. Although beaten by Kyo, Benimaru had won the priveledge of representing Japan in the King of Fighters tournament. Benimaru fought beside Kyo and Goro Daimon in the Japan team, until Kyo's disappearance following Orochi's release. Benimaru took this oppurtunity to steal the spotlight, happy to once again be the centre of attention.

History
Benimaru first appeared in The King of Fighters '94, and has been in every KOF since.
