Story
The feisty Mai Shuranui was trained in Shiranui-Ryu Ninjitsu under Jubei Yamada. Mai's bouncy bosom is a feature comparable to Dan's taunting: it doesn't make much sense, but it adds to her personality. Of course, those prone to staring will find themselves on the business end of Mai's versatile repetoire of flames, kicks and fan attacks. Mai is obsessed with and plans to marry Terry Bogard's brother Andy, who is reluctant to return the sentiment.

History
Mai Shiranui is the signature female of SNK's large assembly of fighters. She first appeared in Fatal Fury 2, and has since been in every Fatal Fury and King of Fighters release. She has been teamed up with King, Yuri, Kasumi and Chizuru Gorgeous (all-female) Team and with the Garou trio of Terry, Andy and Joe.
