The Xavier Protocols.
The Xavier Protocols were files on each and every X-man, so
that if they turned evil, humanity would know how to defeat them!
Onslaught used these files as a means to destroy the X-men. Click
on an X-Man to learn how to defeat them, and who would be most
effective to do it.
These files are not the ones Xavier himself used, but my own
(and help) writen ones!
More will constantly be
added.
Angel needs to be able to spread his wings to
fly at amximum efiiency, thus he needs plenty of room. Beware,
his wing strength is considerable. Stop him from spreading his
wings and he can be easily dealt with.
Ideal person(s) to defeat him: Phoenix.
Banshee is a very powerful and creative
opponent. However, for his sonic scream to reach full intensity,
he needs to have distance between him and his opponent.
A sneak attack from the back may be the best way to attack
Banshee.
Ideal person(s) to defeat him: Wolverine.
Beasts close combat fighting skill is
considerable, as is his agility and intelligence.
The best tactic to use against him would be a wide-angle blast
from a distance.
Ideal person(s) to defeat him: Cyclops /
Banshee.
Bishop needs energy to fuel his power.
Without it, his energy resevoir will run out. If his gun is
removed, and he is given no energy, a long range attack would be
the best tactic as he is trained in unarmed combat.
Ideal person(s) to defeat him: Phoenix /
Polaris / Joseph.
Cables telekinisis is widely taken up by his
fight against the trans-mode virus. So an experienced telekinetic
would have no trouble counter-acting any moves he makes using his
telekinisis. His telepathy has potential, but is as of yet,
basic. An experienced telepath and a telekinetic would easily
defeat him.
Due to his half-cyborg physiology, a magnetic manipulator would
also defeat him with ease.
Ideal person(s) to defeat him: Phoenix /
Psylocke / Polaris / Joseph.
Caliban's strength is based on his
opponent's fear, thus a person who showed no fear would be good.
Also, his power to detect mutants cannot detect non-mutant
super-humans. His lack of intelligence is also a good advantage.
Ideal person(s) to defeat him: Douglock /
Juggernaut.
Cannonball is invunerable once he has his
blasting shield around him, however, in this state he is not
immune to telepathic attacks. Telekinisis could divert his flight
path, allowing enough time for a telepathic attack.]
Ideal person(s) to defeat him: Phoenix
/ The White Queen / Xavier (With Powers).
Chamber is a powerful mutant. In theory, he
may be almost immune to telepathy, and telekinis might not be
effective against his powers. Someone who can get close to him
without being harm by his blast would be effective.
Ideal person(s) to defeat him: Cannonball.
Due to his organic-metal frame, Colossus
could easily be defeated by a mutant with magnetic powers.
Ideal person(s) to defeat him: Polaris /
Joseph.
Cyclops has deadly optic blasts, which are
not controlable by his own psionic means, thus it is useless to
try and shut off his blasts psionically.
Cyclops has extensive training in all areas, including psionic
defense.b However, Cyclops's powers are purely physical, thus a
non-physical entity would not be harmed by his blasts.
Ideal person(s) to defeat him: Shadowcat.
Dazzler has a wide variety of light uses,
but needs sound to convert to perform these acts. A telepathic
attack could knock her out, or telekinetics which do not create
sounds could easily take her down. Even if Dazzler had blinded a
telepath, that person would be able to find her and take her out.
Ideal person(s) to defeat him: Cable /
Phoenix / The White Queen / Xavier (With Powers)
Douglock has a wide array of attacking
capabilities due to his morphing ability. His organic circuitory
would be disrupted by magnetics, and leave him to be easily
finished off.
Ideal person(s) to defeat him: Polaris /
Joseph
Reyes has little psionic defence, and her
Auto-shieling power does not make her immune to telepathy.
Ideal person(s) to defeat him: Cable /
Phoenix / The White Queen / Xavier (With Powers)
Forge has many different attack techniques,
not the least of which is using mystical energy balls or sending
some gadjet after you.
Forge needs time to create weapons, as does magic.
The best way to attack Forge is close up in combat, without any
technological machinery.
Forge's bionic hand and leg makes him an easy target for a
magnetic field controler, this may also stop him from creating
new machinery.
Ideal person(s) to defeat him: Polaris /
Joseph.
Gambit's powers are long range, but he also
is a good hand-to-hand fighter. He has lots of psionic defence,
and can make himself 'Invisible' to mind probes. Although an
experienced telepath would be able to catch him. He also has a
low degree of empathy.
Ideal person(s) to defeat him: Xavier
(With Powers)
Husk has no long range attacks or psionic
defence.
Ideal person(s) to defeat him: Cable /
Phoenix / Xavier (With Powers)
Iceman needs both moisture and coolness for
his power to work optimaly. Thus, heat can melt his ice form
forcing him to back human form.
Iceman has training, but lacks confidence. He will deal with the
most obvious threat without thinking about the less obvious.
If he is traveling on an ice-bridge and the bridge is shattered,
he will fall and not have enough concetration to make another.
Ideal person(s) to defeat him: Sunfire /
Human Torch / Firestar / Pyro.
joseph is very powerful, his magnetic powers
almost on par with Magneto's, potentially, he could reach the
same level as his former persona.
He has virtually no mental barriers or attacks.
If a force could counter-act his powers, he could be defeated
from another angle.
Ideal person(s) to defeat her: Phoenix /
Polaris.
Jubilee has the potential to become a very
powerful opponent, however, her fighting skills can be easily
overcome by mostly any super-human.
Apart from her powers, Jubilee's best asset must be her gymnastic
ability.
Jubilee has psionic defenses, but to what degree is as of yet
unknown.
Close combat without a chance to use her powers will be the most
effective tactic againt her.
Ideal person(s) to defeat her: Bishop.
Lockheed has numerous abilitys, and the
scope of his inteligence is unknown. While it is unlikely he
would turn to evil, it is possible. Lockheed's brain is alien,
and resistent to psionic probes, thus a pis-talent would not be
very effective. Lockheeds small size and ability to fly make him
a hard target to hit. Thus a wide-range power would be useful.
Lockheed's stamina is unknown, and so how many hits he can take
is also unknown. A wide-anged attack is the most effective.
Ideal person(s) to defeat him: Chamber.
M has numerous ability's, and is possibly
resistent to telepathic attack. Her own telepathic powers have
great potential, and it is unknown how powerfull they are at the
moment. All her other attacks are close-range, so a person who
could take her out from afar would be useful. A telepath stronger
than her would be able to nulify her psionic powers, allowing an
attack to go ahead using another form.
Ideal person(s) to defeat her: Phoenix.
Maggot "slugs" are a danger to any
near opponent. Thus a non-near opponent would be better. I fan
opponent could stay away from the slugs and take Maggot down from
afar, they could easily dispatch him. His psionic defence is
unknown.
Ideal person(s) to defeat him: Phoenix /
Chamber / Psylocke / Cyclops / Banshee / White Queen.
Marrow has little psionic defence, and no
long range attacks unless you count throwing her diamond-hard
bones. A telekentic who could deflect these bones as well as
taking Marrow down would be useful.
Ideal person(s) to defeat her: Psylocke.
Telekininis needs a certain amout of time,
concentration and direction.
Telepathy also needs direction and concentration. Deny these to
Jean and she has virtually no other major fighting skills.
Ideal person(s) to defeat her: Quicksilver.
Polaris is very powerful, her magnetic
powers almost on par with Magneto's.
She has virtually no mental barriers or attacks.
If a force could counter-act her powers, she could be defeated
from another angle.
Ideal person(s) to defeat her: Phoenix /
Joseph.
Quicksilver's speed is his main asset,
take that away and he is helpless.
Wide-angle blasts may catch him in time before he moves.
Suprise may be the best tactic to use against Quicksilver.
Ideal person(s) to defeat him: Cyclops.
Whilst phasing, Shadowcat is impervious to
physical attacts, a telepath or someone with magical abilities
would be usefull as she is not impervious to these forms of
attack.
Ideal person(s) to defeat her: Phoenix
/ Psylocke / Daytripper / Xavier with powers.
Storm is very powerfull at long range attacks,
and can make quick gettaways by summoning winds. She has of yet
unexplored her magical potential. Despite having no telepathic
powers, Storm has been taught mental barriers by Professor X that
may delay a telepaths attack long enough for Storm to KO them.
Storm has extensive hand-to-hand combat ability, and would not be
defeated by a normal human, and even some superhumans.
Ideal person(s) to defeat her: Shadowcat.
Synch is confident and trained in the use of
his power. A non-mutant or a mutant with no offensive/defensive
powers would have no trouble defeating him, as long as they could
overcome his non-mutant skills.
Ideal person(s) to defeat him: Douglock.
Wolverine must be close to an attacker to
harm them, so a long range attack will prove usefull.
Wolverine has none or very little psionic defenses, and certain
memories that can be jogged up may render him harmless.
Ideal person(s) to defeat him: Cable.
