I don't have too much to offer yet here.  I plan on offereing my manuals in their true format by snanning them in.  This presents a serious disk space issue, so I will have to think this part over.  The archive consists of a series of JPEGS named according to page number.  For example, 11-12.jpg is pages 11 and 12 of the manual.
