What Should I Use

This is a good question and is not easily answered as a lot of it comes down to personal preference. Instead of rating each utility as to which I think is best, Here is a list of players (in alphabetical order) and what they use

If you are running under DOS, I would recommend getting your hands on a "Multi-DOS Session" Software. (TaskMAX comes with DR DOS or get FastFilp or something) These allow you to have utilities running at the same time as Planets (or VPA) and to swap between them with a "Hot Key"

As I said, This page is a list of "Player Utilities" NOT Host utilities. If you wish to find a Host utility then I can recommend Galactic Traveller as this has a very good list of Host Utilities as well as some Player ones.
