Originally built as an electronic suitcase by and for Dr. Light, Dr. Light saw more in Eddie, otherwise known as Flip-Top). At first he sent Eddie to give items to Mega Man, but then Dr. Light gave him a jet pack and a set of bombs. Eddie is good at holding things, but keeping them organized is another thing, which he doesn't do. His hobby is playing the lottery. He loves money, and hates to waste it.

Eddie usually hangs out with his best friend, Auto, at Big Eddie's, Auto's cyberbiotic parts store.
