Bruno's Beer Garden
Tournament Rules

1. This is SUICIDE SPADES. Each game has a MAX of 5 hands or win by score, whichever comes first. Final round is win by score; no hand limit. IF a tie results, please contact the host.

2. This is SUICIDE SPADES. At least 1 member of each team must bid nil or double nil. If a team fails to do this, the team will forfeit the match.

3. Kibitzers are allowed if all players at table agree & are not disruptive to the game. Do not turn off Kibitzing & do not silence kibitz at the table - the host may need to contact you. To do so may result in disqualification!

4. Cards are to be hidden at all times unless tournament host requests otherwise. If a player is found with open cards & a kibitzer on his/her lap, they will be immediately disqualified!

5. No reseating once all are seated & bidding has commenced. Exceptions are if a bot makes an illegal bid or makes an illegal play. Please see host for approval prior to reseating. Score will be kept manually after a reseat.

6. Disable all communications devices (Disable means cut them completely off; No Away or Silence Modes) including, but not limited to, ICQ, POWWOW, CoolTalk, Ding!, Netmeeting, Zone Messaging.

7. Lag and drop-offs (2 + 5 Rule) If a player drops, boots or is booted due to 2 min lag, pard will hold last card for 5 min. If booted player has not returned in allotted time, a substitute must be used. It is the responsibility of the booted player's pard to hold the last card.

8. At least 1 original team member must be present for entire tournament play or that team forfeits. Players eliminated from tournament may become subs in later rounds.

9. 3-drop rule If a player drops off or is booted 3 times during one game, a sub will replace that player.

10. In the unlikely situation where all 4 players are booted off the Zone due to technical difficulties, the game is to be restarted. (See Host for specific instructions)

11. If a substitute is needed, the remaining pard must notify the host of his/her choice. If you can't find a sub, let the host know & the host will try to assist you.

12. Table talk is not allowed during game. Anything said to tip a players hand is considered table talk. Social & congratulatory comments are fine but best made between hands. Examples of table talk are: Set Em, Bag Em, watch The Bags, Whew, TRAM, or directly referring to a current play. Acceptable talk (Nice Set (after set), GHA, GGA, ect...). Host will make decision on all Table Talk Matters & Host Decision is Final!

13. Players may take a 5 minute break between games. If you must take a break during play, please try to wait & hold last card & announce BRB. In-play breaks should be no more than 2 min.

14. Please report your game results to the host immediately upon completion of your match.

15. Players may not participate in more than one tournament at a time. Also, players should occupy only current room during tournament.

16. Fighting & name-calling between teams is UNACCEPTABLE behavior. The goal of these tourneys is to provide some fun & friendly competition.

17. In addition, all standard zone rules apply.

18. Any other questions or issues, please contact the host.
