The Depot: 1849: The Revision
Information provided by Federico Vellani
Latest rules version: 3.0 (June 1996)
This game has just had a major update, to correct some problems. The upgrade is touching the following items:
- the map has been slightly changed in order to improve the position of the Archimede and Lilibeo corporations and to reduce a little the revenues of the corporations with a token on Catania;
- tiles #655 and #656 have been changed;
- the much discussed starting routine has been changed to something between the old routine and the classic 1830 one;
- a new scenario (for 3 to 5 players) with an additional corporation is now included (the new corporation can choose any free station on the map as its initial base, but can be started only when all the other corporations are active);
- the tiles substitution rule has been changed to the 1856 / 1870 one;
- the L.144 starting value is now available only from phase 6H;
- the L.216 starting value is now available only from phase 10H.
This upgrade is now available, both as a complete game and as an upgrade kit.
