Chocobos

Chocobos play an important role in the Final Fantasy games, they help you get to many places or past certain parts of the game. Here there is a detailed description of how to breed chocobos (mainly a gold one), where to find which ones, and other stuff.

First off, you need the right items and stuff. Get these before starting!
1. 'Chocobo Lure' Materia
2. 'Steal' Materia
3. Access to Gold Saucer
4. 6 Chocobo Stables (60,000 gil) (you don't need all six, but it helps)
5. Highwind
6. 'W-Item' Materia (this is not required, but saves you money)
7. 1 Sylkis Green (from Chococbo Sage's)

Now, you need the right nuts:
1. 3 Carob Nuts (Steal from Vlakorados near Chocobo Sages house on the grass)
2. 1 Zeio Nut (Steal from a Goblin in the forests of Goblin Island)

Now the next thing you need to know is where to find chocobos. You can catch wild chocobos on chocobo tracks, they are pretty easy to spot out.

Chocobos love greens, and feeding them greens will increase their stats, there are 3 stats that can be increased by eating greens, and those are :

Speed	Makes the Chocobo run faster (very helpful in races)
Intelligence	If you are using 'Auto' mode for racing, they run better
Stamina	The higher it is, the longer and harder a Chocobo pushes

Chocobos also eat nuts, but only when breeding with other chocobos, you should already picked up the 4 nuts that are needed to breed a Chocobo.
