EZ Tourney Rules
These rules are read at the start of each tournament.
1. This is a double elimination Tournament. You must lose twice to be out, but not necessarily to the same person. Do not leave until your second loss!
2. Assignments and all other official statements will be typed by the host and/or co-host only. Microsoft does not allow the use of all caps in the lobby.
3. When first round matches are assigned, players have 2 minutes to report for their first round. First round no-shows will be substituted for immediately!
4. Each match is only one game (one point - no doubling allowed!) If your opponent doubles, just accept and continue your game.
5. Winner of match should report game results as follows: ******* winner over loser at table ## ******* Use the asterisks and don't forget the table number, it helps a lot!
6. Anyone gone for 7 minutes or gone 3 times for over 5 minutes each time will forfeit that match only. Report missing or booted opponents to the co-host.
7. You may watch any game in progress, however, you must remain silent. Kibitzers may be silenced if either player wishes. We ask that you leave kibitzing on so that we may view your game. Your cooperation is appreciated.
8. In the final round, winner of losers' bracket must win 2 games against winner of winners' bracket to win the tournament. Winner of winners' bracket need only win once.
9. Any disputes, problems or questions should be addressed to the host or co-host. We are always out here while you are playing.
10. Patience is a virtue. Other games often need to finish before you can receive your next assignment.
