You might want to reconsider the Geomancer job class, it really is useful. I found the game to be a lot of fun and much easier to finish when I used an army of mastered Geomancers who had the Teleport move ability and the Two Swords ability. Or you coul
keep Ramza a Knight and make the rest of the party into Geomancers. They do a great job...the Elemental attacks become more powerful as you rise in level, and they aren't shabby when it comes to swords and armor.
