The monk is a useless character. The punch arts suck and they can only wear body armour and an accesory. Avoid this class unles you want a samurai.

The white mage is one of the better magic characters in the game because its spell 'raise' is much more potent than a pheonix down. The priest may seem like a weak physical charactor but when you get the spell holy (100-300 damage) they really start kicking @$$. Go back to the domain
