Inside The Deku Tree: Look straight ahead and you will see a wall with vines allover it aproach it and Navi will tell you how to climb it(just walk toward it and push up and you'll climb right up it), but before you climb up you might want to kill the flower's to get some Deku Nuts another useful item. Once you've climbed up to the top of that wall just head to the right untill you come upon a chest, open it to obtain the dugeon map. Now keep heading to the right untill you come upon a door, enter it and use your sheild to bounce the nuts the creature in this room which is called a Deku Scrub spits at you back at it. After you hit it once it starts running away from you, just walk up to it and it will give you some advise(make sure you talk to it before it gets back in it's hole or will have to hit again). Now go through the door that the bars were
covering, once through the door just keep holding up and you will jump on to the
floating platform(if you stay on the platform too long it will fall, if you fall
don't worry you can climb the vines up to the chest) and across to a chest. Open
the chest and you will receive the Fairy Slingshot. Once you set the Slingshot to
one of the C-Buttons, use it to knock down a ladder which is above the entry way
of the door you entered. Now climb the ladder and head back to the main room.
Once you're back in the main room head back to the chest where you obtained the
map, now use your slingshot to knock the spiders off the wall. Once you killed
all 3 of them climb up the wall, once you're on the 3rd floor look for a door
(beware of the spiders that are in the openings of the web in the center of this
room). When you find the door enter it, once your through bars will cover the
door locking you in the room, don't worry it's very simple to get out. Now look
to your right and you will see a button on the ground, step on it and three
platforms will rise from the ground for a limited amount of time. Once you step
on the button jump to the nearest platform, and then the one to the left and
continue to the alcove with the spider hanging above it (just jump toward the
left side of the alcove to avoid the spider) open the chest and get a 1 heart
life recharge. Now behind the chest there is a spider known as the Gold
Skulltula, kill it and get the token it leaves behind(I'll explain the
significance of this later). Now go toward the Spider hanging above the edge of
the alcove, hit it's under side with the slingshot, wait for it to spin around
and hit it in the same place. After you kill it go hit the switch again, and this
time go straight across and get the compass from the chest. Now leave this room,
to do so pull out a Deku stick and put it up to the torch to light the stick on
fire, and use it to light the other torch and this will open the door. Now go
through the door, once through kill one of the spiders in the web in the center
of the room. Now Jump down to the 1st floor and land on the web in the center of
the room, it will break and you will fall through the hole and land in some water,
and suffer no damage. Now look for a button on one of the platforms it's near an
unlit torch, step on it to light the torch, now light a deku stick with it then
run across the shallow part of the water to a door behind a spider web and the
flames from the stick will burn the web allowing you access to the door. But
before you go through the door you should kill the 2 Gold Skulltula's in this
room, 1 is on the water grate next to swith used to light the torch(kill it with
your slingshot and retrieve the token by jumping from the platform) 2 is on the
wall you can use to climb back up(kill it with your slingshot and climb up the
wall to get the token. Now go through yhe door, once through the door you will
encounter another Deku Scrub, just bounce the nut back at it and it will run away
from you just like the other on. Talk to it and it will tell you a secret about
his brothers he will tell you the order in which to defeat them "2-3-1 23 is
Number One". To get through the bars on the door you must shoot the eye above the
door with the slingshot. Now go through the door, once through the door Navi will
tell you how to dive. Now jump in the water and underneath that spinning spiked
bar and on the left side of the room there will be a button under water, get above
it and press and hold A to dive down and press it. Now the water level will lower,
swim back toward the door you entered this room through, you sholud see a lower
place to climb up from on the same side of the room as the button you used to
lower the water level. With the water level lower you can use the floating
platform to pass under the spinning spiked bar and jump on to the land on the
other side of the room. Once your across kill the spider by shooting it with your
slingshot when it turns and exposes it's underside to you. After you kill the
spider walk over to the block and Navi will instruct you on how to move a block.
Move the block over as far as you can to the right and climb up it and go through
the door. Once through the door use a Deku Stick to light the torches, this will
lift the bars so you can go through the door. Once through the door there will be
a spider with it's belly already facing you, destroy it with your sling shot.
After you kill it, look up at the cieling and you will see 3 balls hanging from
it, these are Gohma Larva eggs. When you walk under them they will fall from the
ceiling and hatch, to kill them just lock onto them and attack them with your
sword, and block with your sheild when they jump at you. When you kill them look
for a torch on the left side of the room use a deku stick to burn the web on the
right side of the room and crawl through the hole. Once you emerge on the other
side you will see a web on the ground, you need to burn it to get down to the next
floor. To do this you must push the block on the left off into the water, once you
do that jump over to where the torch is and light a deku stick on fire. Now jump
back across the block to the web and use the C-button you have the Deku stick set
to, to swing the stick to fry the web. After you burn the web you will fall down
into some more water. Look around and you should see a door with bars over it, and
near the door there should be 3 Deku scrubs. Remember what the last Deku Scrub
told you "2-3-1" that is the order in which you must stun them they are numbered
from left to right. After you hit the last Scrub he will give you some tips on
defeating the dungeons boss, then he will open the door to the bosses room and
take off.
Deku tree boss: Queen Gohma-Once you enter this room walk foraward and stop at the
edge of the open part of the room, now use C-up to look for Queen Gohma who is on
the ceiling. Once you make eye contact she will jump down to the ground. When you
get control again lock on to her with Z-targeting and use your slingshot(or a Deku
Nut) to stun her, when she's stunned slash at her eye with your sword. After you
hit her she will get up and run back to ceiling, once on the ceiling she will drop
3 eggs. Destroy the eggs before they hatch, if you fail to do so you'll have to
deal with the Gohma Larva which emerge. Once all 3 are destroyed, the queen will
jump to the ground once again.(you can prevent her from dropping the eggs by
hittng her in the eye with the slingshot, do this and she will fall to the ground,
falling to the ground will stun her leaving her open for 2 or possibly 3 swings
from your sword. Just repeat the process above untill she is defeated. After she
is defeated grab the heart she leaves behind and step into the blue light. The
blue light will encase you in a crystal which will take you back you outside the
dungeon, and set you right in front of the Deku Tree.

Kokiri Forest: Once in the forest Mido will stop you and blame you for the death of the Great Deku Tree. After he lets you pass follow the trial to the end and continue past it through the hollow log to leave the Kokiri Forest. You will be at a bridge leading to another hollow log which will take you to Hyrule Field. Before you leave, Saria will apear to say good-bye and give you the Fairy Ocarina, now you can proceed to Hyrule Field.
Hyrule Field: Just before you get out into the open, you will be stopped by an owl. He will tell you about the map and tell you the way to Hyrule Castle. After he leaves head for the Castle. If you don't make it to the castle before night fall the draw bridge will raise up and lock you out untill mourning. And during the night creatures known as Stalchild come out of the ground just keep destroying them untill day break, when the drawbridge comes down.

When you talk to her she will tell her name is Malon, and that she can't find her father Talon who went the castle to deliver some milk. Look around the town if you want, but the castle is your goal. The path to the castle isn't hard to find, but just in case you can't see the castle behind Malon, head up from where Malon is standing.
Hyrule Castle: Go foward and you will be stopped by the owl, he will tell you to beware of the guards, and tell you about the flow of time between day and night. After he leaves roll into the tree he was standing on, and a Gold Skulltula will fall from it's branches, kill it and get the token. Now head forward untill you see a guard standing by a gate, talk to him and he will say "The Princess would never Grant an audience to the likes of you!" So just head back to the Market to talk to Malon.
Market: Once you enter the Market you will see that Malon is nowhere to be found. Now head back to the Castle.
Hyrule Castle: Once there you will see Malon standing by a wall with some vines on it. Talk to her and she will ask you to find her father and give you an egg, set it to one of the C-buttons. Now just wait there untill the egg hatches. After it hatches climb up the vines behind Malon. Now head toward the castle, being careful to avoid the guards. Just head forward and jump down from the archway holding up so you roll and avoid damage, or you can climb down the ladder and go out the door. Now head forward to where the roads forks, now use C-up to look around and you should see one guard to the left and two the right. Now walk forward between the two on the right an the one on the left, and follow the trial untill you come upon a wall, on the wall you will she a rough spot on the wall where you can can climb up. Once up the wall follow the wall on the left and jump down and get into the moat and swim to the right and will see a way to get out of the water. No go to the left and you will see a man sleeping, this is Talon. Use the Cucco Malon gave you to wake him up. Talk to him and he will leave, now move one of the crates into the water and move the other one on top of that and that will make a bridge to a small crawlway with water flowing out of it. Go through it and you will be in the courtyard, avoid the guards by going by when they are away from you. Once you get to Zelda, she will tell you about her prophetic dreams and ask about the Spiritual stone of the forest, and tell you more of the legend of Hyrule's creation. Then she will tell you to find the other 2 Spirtual stones. Then she will ask you to look through the window, say yes and you will get a glimpse of Ganondorf the king of Theives. Now talk to Zelda again and she will tell you talk to attendant. Now leave and you will see a woman standing there. Hyrule Field: Once you are back at the field she will tell you to go death mountain to get the Spirtual Stone of Fire. Then she will vanish into thin air, and leave you to continue your quest. To get to death mountain you must first go to Kariko Village, it's over the bridge and up the stairs ahead of you. But before you go to Kakariko there are a few things that you should do and something you must do first. Go Back into the market.
Market: As soon as you enter from the drawbridge you will she a guard standing near you, next to him is a building with a door on the side of it, go in there. Once you're inside you will see pots all over the ground, break them all open and you will find rupees inside most of them, the fasted way to do this is hit them all with your sword. Now look next to the guard and you will see a couple of crates, smash them open by rolling into them and you will find a Gold Skulltula, kill it and get the token. Now leave this room and go into the main part of the market. Once there head to the right or left untill you can see the castle up above, now go into the building on the left. This is the shooting gallery, pay the man at the counter 20 rupees and he will explain how you play this game. If you hit all the targets except for a maximum of 2 he will give you a free retry. If you hit them all he will give you a bag which can carry 40 deku seeds for your slingshot.(you don't have to this right now or ever if you don't want to). Now head toward the castle.
Hyrule Castle: As soon as you get here just wait untill dark(you will know it's dark when you hear the howling of a wolf), then go back into the market.
Market: Once you are back at the market you will see dogs running around. Head to the other side of the market place, now head to the right and go into an alley. You should see 2 doors, go in the one on the right. Talk to the lady and she will tell you she can't find her dog, go get it and bring it back to her and she will give you a piece of heart. Her dog is to the left of this alley, by the shop stand under a window with a woman lookind out it, he is white. Just walk up to it and he will follow you(if you are being followed by another dog just go to her house and talk too her and it will stop). Now go back toward the castle and wait for daylight so you get out of the market and get back to hyrule field.
Hyrule Field: Once you are here you will see a structure ahead that is Lon Lon Ranch, you should head there next, but make sure it's daylight when you go in.
Lon Lon Ranch: Once you are here go into the building on the left, inside you will see Talon sitting there. Talk to him and will tell about a game you can play, if you win he will give you a bottle. The easiest way do this is first gather up all the other cuccos in the corner right behind Talon. After you get the bottle head up and as soon as you clear the building look for a tree to your left, roll into it and a Gold Skulltula will fall from it, kill it and get the token. Now go into the fenced in area to find Malon, keep talking to her untill she tells you about her mothers song. Pull your ocarina and she will teach you the song(Epona's Song), play it and the horse will run over to you. Now head to a silo in the back of the ranch and you will see a door in it, go in the door. Once in this room move the crates around to find a crawlway, go through it and you will get another piece of heart. Now leave the ranch and proceed to the Kokiri Forest.
Kokiri Forest: Once you get into the forest go left and climb up the small ledge, then climb up the wall on the right and proceed forward then left to get to the Lost Woods.

He will tell you about the Sacred Forest Meadow, after he leaves go through the hollow log he was perched on. Now follow these directions to get to the Sacred Forest Meadow; left, straight, left, right.
Sacred Forest Meadow: Now go forward to the gate and a creature called Wolfos will appear, defeat it by blocking it's attacks with your shield, and attack it with your sword when it's not attacking. After you defeat it the gate will open allowing you to continue onward. Now you will be at a very simple maze, just make your through it, but beware of the Mad Scrubs, they are like the Deku Scrub but you have to kill these one's with your sword or slingshot after you hit their nuts back at them. After your way through the maze just go up the stairs and you will Walk up so Saria and she will ask you to play the ocarina with her, tell her yes and she will teach you another song(Saria's Song). Now go to Kakariko.
Lost Woods: As soon as you enter, the owl will be waiting for you and tell you about the ocarina songs, after he leaves go staright ahead and you will be back in the Kokiri Forest. Ocnce there leave by jumping down then going to the right and go to Kakariko.
Kakariko Village: Make sure it's daylight when you enter. As soon as you enter the town, just go forward untill you can turn right, now go up the stairs and go in the house just off to your right. Once inside you will see this is called the House of Skulltula, go to the center of the room and a spider will descend from the ceiling, don't be afraid it won't hurt you. Talk to him and he will tell you the significance of killing the Gold Skulltula's. After you have heard what he has to say head back out the door. Once back outside tap Z to put the camera behind you, now off to your right you should see a fence with a person standing near it. Go talk to her and she will ask you to help bring back her Cuccos, do it and she will give you another bottle. There are a total of 7 to find, here is the fastest way to gather them all up. First look for the one that's hanging aroun the pen and grab it, now with it still in your hands go up the nearest set of stairs now hug the fence and walk forward untill you see a fenced in area straight and off to your left no walk off and aim for the corner and with the cucco in your hand you should make it over there. Now throw the chicken back toward the well but don't jump over the fence yourself, now turn around and walk down the stairs right next to the red house you are front of. Look for a cucco down here(it should be off to the right) but don't go down the hole or all the cuccos will return to where they started, once you find the cucco throw it by the well with the the other one but once again don't jump over the fence, go climb the ladder right where the cucco was. Now you should see another cucco up here, grab it and go throw it in it's pen. Now go grab the other 2 by the well and throw them back in the pen as well. Now back to the entrance of the town and there will be a cucco near by, now take it up the stairs on the left, now look for a house that you can get on the roof of, get on the roof and look around and you should see another cucco now use the cucco in your hands to glide over to that one, once over there throw both cuccos off the ledge and take them back to the pen. Now in front of the house which you were on the roof of there is a crate, roll into it to smash it open and cucco will come out of it, take it back to the pen. The last cucco is near the northen most part of the town map, take it back to pen, now talk to the woman and she will give you a bottle. Now there is something else you should do which will be very useful, near the cucco pen there is a path leading out of town and into the grave yard, follow it.
Graveyard: Now go forward to the the big Tomb Stone, this is the Royal Family's Tomb. Now in front of this Tomb there is the symbol of the Royal Family other wise known as the symbol of the Triforce, stand on it and play Zelda's Lullaby, the tomb stone will explode revealing a hole in the ground go in it. Once down there kill the 4 bats with your slingshot, now bars on a door will rise, go in the door. Now beware of the zombies down here if you get to close their scream will paralyse you, and then they could jump on you and start to drain your life, if this happens just keep moving the control stick untill you get free, go through the dark hallway in the back. Now go read the alter, you will see a poem on it and then you will see a song written below it. You will learn it(Sun's Song), this song will give you the power to make it day or night at will, and will also temperallily freeze zombies. Now go back to the town.
Kakariko Village: Now go talk to the guard at the top of the town. Show him the letter Zelda gave you, he will open the gate and will tell you to get a proper sheild, and ask you to go get a mask for him. Go get it, then go to the mask shop and get the Keaton Mask and sell it to the guard. Now go back to the mask shop and pay the man his 10 rupees for the mask, and buy the skull mask(you'll need it later. Now go ahead and go to Death Mountain.
