I shall be Free

When you have vanished from my mind
And I can relax and recline
I shall be free of you

When I have forgotten your perfume
And I am disposed of all your heirlooms
I shall be free of you

When I hear angels singing
And your voice is no longer in my ears ringing
I shall be free of you

When I watch the million other fish in the sea
And your face does not morph in to be
I shall be free of you

When the world stops turning
And the eternal flames cease their burning
I shall be free of you

When I catch the horizon with the sun
And the stars burn out as one
I shall be free of you
