As the final repairs were being made to the "UPA Paradigm," which was damaged during the battle at Byss, Grand Admiral WedgeantR2 received a bit of news that caught his eye. He immediately ordered a Supreme Council meeting. At the meeting, the members of the SC discussed what they were going to do about the situation. After hours of discussion, the SC gathered all the UPA pilots together. "OK everyone, we are going on another mission," said WedgeantR2. "This time, it's going to be a lot harder than our last mission. There have been reports of a fleet of smugglers gathering somewhere in this sector. We believe we have pinpointed the location of their base. Their base is most likely a small platform or repair yard. If we don't do anything about it, they will become more powerful, and that could mean trouble for the planets in this sector." Drewhead said, "We believe that the smugglers possess several small or medium capital ships. They probably have a few fighters as well, so we will need several squadrons to go with us. The "UPA Paradigm" has not finished repairs yet, so it will stay, along with the entire Eagle Wing fleet so it has protection while the rest of the fleet is gone." "We will have to strike quickly," GoldLeader added, "Because we think they are planning an attack soon. The mission begins tomorrow. Good luck." The next day, the "UPA One" moved into position to jump into hyperspace. The rest of the fleet formed around it. All the ships jumped into hyperspace at the same time. When the fleet came out of hyperspace, they were expecting a large fleet to come at them. Instead, they only saw a platform, a Nebulon B-Frigate, and two Corellian corvettes. The frigate launched two squads of Z-95s, which were easily disposed of by the more talented UPA squadrons. The "UPA Stonewall" destroyed the platform with its heavy turbolasers, and the other ships quickly disposed of the other capital ships. "This was too easy," said Hacker over the comm. "I wonder what happened to the rest of the smugglers." Suddenly, WedgeantR2's voice came over the comm. "We are under attack! Get the rest of the fleet back here! The Eagle Wing fleet is under attack!" The rest of the fleet quickly reformed and shot into hyperspace. When they arrived, they saw what they were up against. Three dreadnaughts were attacking the "UPA Paradigm," and the other ships in the Eagle Wing fleet were fighting off about 10 corvettes and Carrack-class cruisers. Rogue and Grey squadrons were tied up with several TIE fighters. They were facing almost two to one odds. Blue squadron raced ahead in their A-wings to provide assistance. The "UPA One" moved to cover the "UPA Paradigm," and the other ships went to help the "UPA Saratoga," the "UPA Peacemaker," and the "UPA Vengeance." All other starfighter squadrons launched all their warheads and any enemy capital ship in sight. The "UPA Paradigm" was in bad shape. It had lost most of its shielding, and its hull was heavily damaged. It was able to severly damage one of the dreadnaughts, but the other two continued to pour turbolaser blasts into it. When the "UPA One" came to within firing range, it opened up with all its guns. The dreadnaughts, which had their shielding diverted toward the "UPA Paradigm," were caught off guard and were destroyed. On the other side of the battle, Gold and Defiant squadrons had managed to destroy two corvettes, but the other squads were busy with the TIEs. The rest of the fleet was working on single targets at a time. Using this strategy, they were able to destroy some cruisers, but the "UPA Startide" and "UPA Virtue" took some damage. Suddenly, two enemy ships exploded. The "UPA One" and Rogue squadron had managed to get back to the enemy fleet and had launched torpeoes and fired turbolasers at the enemy. The "UPA Paradigm" was safe for now. Once Gold and Defiant squadrons saw this, they immediately went to help clean up the remaining TIEs. The battle was soon over. Later, as the "UPA Paradigm" was being repaired, the Supreme Council gathered all the UPA pilots together on the bridge of the "UPA One." "Good job everyone," said GoldLeader. "We all did great. It doesn't look like these smugglers will cause anymore trouble around here."

As the lambda-class shuttle prepared to dock with the ISD "Vigilate", which was a part of the fleet assigned to protect the shipyards of Fondor, the crew of the shuttle got in their stormtrooper outfits and gabbed their E-11 blaster rifles. "You sure this is going to work?" asked Crusher. "Of course," replied yoda, "Why else do you thnk the Supreme Council picked us four to do this job?". "I sure hope you're right about this," said hopeflt. "OK get ready. We've finished docking," said Raptor. The landing ramp of the shuttle descended and the four "stormtroopers" stepped out. Crusher said, "We're here to drop off some TIE Fighter parts." The officer on duty responded, "TIE fighter parts? I don't recall there ever being an order for parts on the "Vigilate." At that moment, hopeflt whipped out his blaster rifle and shot the officer. "OK," he said, "now we have to get to the bridge." The four pilots crept to the turbolifts and took it up to the bridge. When they arrived, there were only three stormtroopers there, along with dozens of crew members. All four pulled out their E-11s and started shooting. Everyone was caught off guard and out of position, and in less than a minute, they were the only ones on the bridge. They went to the control stations and changed the course of the ISD. Crusher saw the primary target on the radar, and pointed the ISD right at its bridge. Then, all four rushed out of there and in a few minutes, they were back on the shuttle. They had to get out of there before the ship crashed into the primary target, which was still under construction. The UPA had been planning this attack for weeks once they heard that the shipyards of Fondor, which was where the SSD "Executor" was built, was constructing another SSD, called the "Atlantean." After the shuttle escaped to hyperspace, the rest of the UPA fleet was going to come in. No ship would be able to stop an ISD, so the "Vigilante" would have crashed into the bridge of the SSD, and the UPA fleet would move in and finish it off. The shuttle jumped into hyperspace unnoticed, and a minute later, the "Vigilate" crashed into the bridge of the "Atlantean". The force of the impact sent chunks of the star destroyers flying. Some debris destroyed an ISD that was under construction, and several of the shipyards were damaged. The Imperial fleet immediately formed around the "Atlantean". Then, the entire UPA fleet came out of hyperspace. All squadrons were launched, and they moved to fight off incoming TIEs. The "UPA Stonewall", "UPA Virtue", and "UPA Paradigm" lead the attack on the SSD. Some frigates got in their way, but they were easily delt with by the more powerful UPA ships. All three ships opened fire on the SSD, while the rest of the fleet handled the other Imperial capital ships that came to assist. A piece of the "Atlantean's" bow the size of an ISD snapped off due to repeated turbolaser and concussion missile hits. The three lead ships focused on the point where the "Vigilante" had struck the SSD, and soon, the massive ship had been split in half. One half collided with two strike cruisers, and the other hit one of the shipyards. The UPA fleet reformed and saw about 5 ISDs coming toward them, so they decided to get out of here, now that their primary objective had been completed. The fleet jumped into hyperspace, leaving behind the remains of an ISD, an SSD, and several shipyards.
