Dyann Al'Athar

The Great Warrior King

Dyann Al'Athar, the Great Warrior King, is the most powerful noble on the Exodite world of Janus-Thailash. Dyann is accompanied to battle by his five daughters, Al-Yana, Armenia, N'Dyna, Sierr-al and Se'Lina. They have sworn to protect their father with their very lives, and are very capable warriors in their own right. Dyann and his daughters all wear suits of extremely ancient battle armour which have been passed down from generation to generation of Thailashin Kings.

Dyann Al'Athar and his Daughters may be includeded in place of an Exodite Lord as one of your allowed HQ units, but only if both you and your opponent have agreed to the use of special characters.

Special Rules

Jungle Warriors: Al'Athar and his Daughters follow rules for Jungle Warriors as presented earlier in this Codex. See the Rules and Reference Page for details on the special rules used by Jungle Warriors.

El'Iysa Ishmal

The Voice of the Mother

El'Iysa Ishmal, known among her people as The Voice of the Mother is said to be divinely inspired by the goddess Isha herself. She has certainly helped guide the people of her Exodite world, Ishalmar, to triumph over their enemies on a number of occasions, using her ability to gaze into the future to steer her warriors in the most efficient manner in order to secure victory.

El'Iysa Ishmal may be included in place of a Prophet as one of your allowed HQ units, but only if both you and your opponent have agreed to the use of special characters. She may be accompanied by a Shaman Bodyguard as normal.

Weapons & Wargearn: El'Iysa is armed with a Shurkien Pistol and carries a Rod of Isha, a Talisman of Isha, a Tear of Isha and Spirit Stones. She also bears the Mark of Isha.

Special Rules

Independant Character: Unless accompanied by a Shaman bodyguard, El'Iysa is an Independant Character and follows the Independant Character special rules as given in the Warhammer 40,000 Rulebook.

Rune Armour: El'Iysa carries an amulet carved with protective runes and sigils that uses Psychic energy to ward off enemy attacks. A model wearing Rune Armour has an invulnerable save.

Psychic Powers: El'Iysa knows all four Prophet Psychic Powers, and may use them as normal.

Divinely Inspired: El'Iysa may choose which army takes the first turn in any scenario where this is normally decided by a dice roll. If the enemy has a character with the same ability, then they cancel each other out and the dice roll is made as usual. In addition, she is marked out by Isha, as are many other Prophets, but her mark is especially powerful. Where an ordinary Prophet with the Mark of Isha may ignore the perils of the warp on a D6 roll of 4+, El'Iysa ignores them on a D6 roll of 3+.

Jungle Warriors: El'Iysa follows rules for Jungle Warriors as presented earlier in this Codex. See the Rules and Reference Page for details on the special rules used by Jungle Warriors.
