Inquisitor Ophelia D'Marquis leads her ragtag band of adventurers in her never-ending quest to purge heretics and find artifacts and tomes that will lead her to a better understanding of the way of the Warp, and how it may be used to better serve mankind and its Most Beneficient Emperor. She is accompanied in her journies by the privateer Juan Ramirez, a gun for hire named Dalton Granger, who she holds on retainer as a bodyguard, her eager acolyte, the lovely Elliysa of D'Altarran, and her loyal hunting falcon Polonius.
