Spirit Cloak 100 pts
Some of the Eldar Farseers forsaw the comming of Slaanesh, the Prince of Chaos. In their attempt to stop him they created cloaks woven from the essence of the Warp to give their warriors a chance to defend themselves from the onslaught.

The cloak's function was to absorb the power of the deamon, thus weakening him; however, this was not the case. The cloaks could not absorb the entity entierly. It only slowed his absorbtion of the souls of the lost eldar worlds by assemilating them into the cloaks. Now trapped inside the fabric, between this world and the next, the souls long for release. By protecting the recepient, only then can a spirit be released.

The cloak offers total immunity against any attacks that are warp based (ie vortex granades, wraith cannons, deamon posession, Psychic powers). Because of the cloaks oneness with the warp, the owner receives one extra warp card per Psychic Phase and may always cast the first power. In addition, all Psychic Powers cast by this character add +1 to any Strength values and/or To Hit rolls that may be involved. (This includes the Strength of weapons that are Guided.)

The most extraordinary power of this cloak is it's ability to protect the wearer by sacrificing one of the traped souls; this happens automatically each time the wear is wounded. Each cloak starts with D6+1 souls trapped within its fibers. Each time that the wearer is wounded, subtract the wounds from this total first. When this reaches 0, further wounds will be sustained by the character as normal.

If any living Eldar (ie not Wraitguard, Dreadnaughts or Spirit Stones) are killed within 12" of the cloak, it will absorb their soul on a D6 roll of 7 or more (add the wearer's Psychic Mastery to this roll). If the soul is absorbed you may add +1 to the total of souls that the cloak contains, however this number may never increase to more than 7.

Eldar Farseers, Warlocks and Shadowseers only.
