The White Light Laser Pistol uses technology that allows the beam to travel through the atmosphere as white light. Since the beam travels along the same wavelengths as white light, it passes directly through feilds. This works because power fields and such allow visible light to pass through their defenses so that the user to see past the field.

Field Saves: The White Light Laser Pistol passes through all forms of energy fields, rendering them useless against it's power. There has yet to be any effective countermeasure against this effect. For this reason, no field saves may be taken against the weapon. Other saves may be taken as usual. Saves that become unmodified due to a power field of some kind (ie Storm Shields) become modified saves instead, but may still be taken.
