Introduction
Gundam fans rejoice! Bandai has finally released the highly-anticipated SD Gundam: G-Generation.
G-Generation boasts a large number of Mobile Suits and characters, which are taken mainly from the Universal Century (U.C.) Timeline in the Gundam world. All your favorite MS from the anime are here, plus lots more from Mobile Suit Variation and the Gundam Side Story. You can even sign up your original pilots and develop your own Mobile Suits here!
The game has a 42-stage story mode where you can actually play through the various Gundam series in the U.C. Timeline, starting from U.C. 0079 (Mobile Suit Gundam) all the way to U.C. 0093 (Char’s Counterattack). Fans of the anime will definitely love this!
The game also has a Training Match Mode, a Battle Match Mode, a cool Profile Mode and other surprises!
I would say that SD Gundam: G-Generation is truly an impressive effort by Bandai, and will satisfy the needs of all Gundam fans! ^_^
Why make an On-Line FAQ?The main reason why I have made this On-Line FAQ for G-Generation is because the game contains plenty of Japanese text. By making such a FAQ, I will be able to present players with pictures and images which will aid them in figuring out the game more easily. (However, the names of the Mobile Suits & Pilots will still pose a problem, but fans of the series should have no problems recognizing them by their icons & portraits!)
I know that there are many Gundam fans out there, but not all of them can understand Japanese, and it would be such a pity if they were unable to play this great game. I hope that this FAQ will be able to help these people out. ^_^
I have also allowed the use of the Message Board where players can post hints & tips, especially for the various combinations for developing different MS, which can be very difficult to figure out! Please make use of this opportunity! ^_^
*Please note that my FAQ only covers the more basic aspects of this game. Not everything is covered here, though they may be added later
