The team follows the trail of the suspect freighter back into human space, but the trail is 10 years cold. All they are able to determine is that the freighter was lost to raiders. Along the way, the team gets wrapped up in a mystery: an opera singer has been robbed some jewelery. The mystery is discovered to be complicated by an investegating Minbari, a rough and toumble archaeologist, and the slightest hint of underworld maneuverings. The team departs to search for Scrivener's boss.
