The Presidential transport is equipped with a positive-gravity rotating section for the passenger's comfort. Naturally, the accomidations are opulent. There is a minimum of a flight of fighters escorting Earth Force One, and there are facilities to refuel and change pilots without interrupting flight. Thus, an absolute minimum of 4 starfuries are in the air at all times. There are four heat sinks/solar collectors connected to the drive section. The large heat sinks allow the fusion drive to operate at high temperatures and thus the reaction drive is more fuel efficent. Beacuse of this fuel efficency, while the total drive output is not exceptional, it can burn longer, resulting in shorter travel times. EF1 can traverse yellow jumps (restricted to fast ships) routinely, and is also equipped with the sensors and speed to traverse dotted red jumps (restricted to military craft) if required. The solar panels also allow the ship's life support to remain powered if the main drives fail. The interceptor system is concealed during normal flight, and most are unaware it exists. Internal security is tight, controlled by the EA Secret Service. Finally, this ship has excellent communications gear and numerous escape pods.
