EXPERIENCE:
Technical Support Specialist for Black Diamond Consulting, inc., 9/97-2/99.
- Provided technical support for both the ActiveX component and the development toolkit of a web-based 360 degree panoramic viewer. This required knowledge of the ActiveX control, HTML and Visual Basic Script coding.
- Maintained and expanded the Black Diamond web page. In order to do this fully, I expanded my HTML skills to include Active Server Pages and Java Script coding.
- Worked on the Quality Assurance of the next major release of the panoramic image viewer and editor package. Wrote a great deal of the documentation for the new release.
- As a content developer, created custom browser installations for a client using both the Internet Explorer Administrator Kit and the Netscape Customization Kit. Integrated these installations into the client's multimedia content by editing the multimedia HTML code.
Technical Support Coordinator and Engineering Assistant for Optometrics, 8/96-10/96.
- Created the on-line product tracking system from start to finish. This began with entering the product data into the database, expanded to creating the forms used to display and add additional entries in Microsoft Access, and finished by installing the system on the production room floor.
- Designed, built, tested and documented an amplification circuit for the prototype product being built. This involved circuit design, assembling and soldering the circuit, integrating this into the rest of the prototype, testing the prototype, and writing up a report on the results.
