POLYMERIC ARMOR
Polymeric armor is a superstrong, microengineered plastic that is lighter
and less bulky than conventional armor. Polymeric armor is stronger
than most steel and ferro-fibrous alloys, and can stand up to heavy
ballistic penetration and shaped charge (missle) impacts. However, it's
most significant weakness is that energy weapons melt it like butter.
-Game Rules
Polymeric Armor gives a substansial x1.5 modifier to armor, at no
additional critical slot penalties. However all damage done by energy
weapons is increased by half (Multiply all energy strikes by 1.5,
rounding up).
CRYSTAL LATTICE ARMOR
Crystal lattice armor is a glistening armor made from a weave of tough,
synthetic monomolecular crystal strands, and is remarkably thin and not
bulky at all. It is stronger than almost all conventional armors, and
can stand up admirably to energy weapon and shaped charge (missle) impacts.
However, the raw hitting power of ballistic weapons shatters the delicate
crystal structure.

additional critical slot penalties. However all damage done by ballistic
weapons is increased by half (Multiply all ballistic strikes by 1.5,

CERAMIC PLATE ARMOR
Ceramic Plate is created from a special dull black ceramic that is super
strong and extremely light. It can stand up against the heat of energy
weapons and the impact of ballistic weapons, but the shaped charges in
warheads of most missles cause severe stress in this armor and break it
apart.

Ceramic Plate Armor gives a substansial x1.5 modifier to armor, at no
additional critical slot penalties. However all damage done by missle

COST: All three of these armors are 40,000 C-bills per ton
