Rules of play:
Heroes who have this special: White Queen, and no one else I believe. Well, let me analyze this special card starting with its first effect: hero must discard all placed cards. This is a nice effect. It makes your opponent cringe when he finds out he won't be able to play "Blood Chill" in that game. Plus, it's not just one card, it's all of them, so you might get a good teamwork out too. If he plays teamwork-light, and you force him to discard a teamwork, he's screwed. Losing a high-powered special is always bad, no matter what, but your opponent may be playing a deck that doesn't have many in it, and that can seriously harm him. I know alot of people like to place their cards early on. When your opponent concedes, he usually places all of his good cards beforehand, to build up the next battle which he hopes he can win. This card helps take away that strategy. Next, it's second effect: hero must move into reserve. This effect makes it so that your opponent may no longer use that hero to attack this battle. All of the special-cards and power cards only usuable by that hero are now useless. Between the first and second effect you could wipe out about 4 cards from that battle and from the game. That's alot of power you've taken away. Unfortunately, now you may no longer attack that hero....or, can you? Let's take a look at White Queen's other specials:
"Hellfire Leader -- Acts as a level 6 Intellect attack. May be used against OPPONENT IN RESERVE[!!!!], who may defend." Whoa! You can attack the targeted hero! Of course, this requires good timing and placing, but it's a great combo. Especially after your opponent has knocked out that AG special that you had placed. If you play it just right, you can end up killing the hero in two moves. This is a deadly card. Especially if drawn at the same time as Web-Headed/Wizard/in Top Hat and Tails or a "Malice" under a battlesite. You could play this card twice against your opponent, knocking out two, (which could be all), of his heroes. At the Toronto regionals, one of my opponents played this card on me twice (different battles) and each time played Hellfire Leader, cripling my heroes due to lack of defence. (You gotta know when to play Hellfire Leader, so as to make the opponent get rid of his level 6-8 power cards). Any time you decide to use White Queen, I suggest you use these cards.
