As for Kobe, I somewhat agree, he needs to use his skills in the scope of team play, (which he did more in the finals) but remember another great player who was non passer? hmmmm maybe MJ? Kobe has a long way to go to match Jordan's mental toughness, but he has as much one on one skill as anyone in the league. Horry, Fox, you were right on. Good players without whom we would have lost much sooner. The most stunning of your evaluations is that of Derek Fisher. Do you actuall watch the game, or just read the stats in the paper? A 3 pointer here and there, good guard defense yes. But he disrupts the team chemistry because he can't see the whole floor. He usually forces a shot or throws an ill advised pass that nulifies any points he makes. In my opinion, he is one of those players who is not good enough to be a shooting guard, and not a good point guard, so he will always be relegated to a bench role. Thanks for your time. |
