WARRIOR
A basic ground unit in the game, but not neccesary a war meat. They're quite powerful and can do a lot in groups. They have the same speed as archers and should be used to defend them. They cost twice as much as thralls but are faster and stronger. They're very good at defending narrow places. Set them into short line and see how it works. They cost 2 points.

3. They are more resistant to molotov cocktails than berserkers and myrmidons
Weaknesses
1. Very vulnerable to lightning and wights
ARCHER
I always have respect for long range units. Remember Warcraft, when a horde of archers didn't even let the enemy come close. And so it is in Myth. Archers are extrmely powerful in groups and can highly reduce enemy army before it gets to your front line. They're even more effective from high ground. So if you have with many hills, get lots of these guys. They cost 3 points. For more info on archers see Strategies.

Thrall
The most basic ground unit. This is a real war meat. Slow, not intelligent, armed with axes, but not too powerful. However, they are devasting in large groups and these are easy to get : Thralls cost only 1 point. That's why many prefer them to warriors. I don't. I always have some warriors to clean up after thralls. One of the best unit comparing to his cost. They cost 1 point.

1. Bad at offense
2. Too slow, they can't even catch up an archer
3. Very vulnerable to cocktails
Soulless
They're the dark archers. The only thing that differs them is their ability to move... Soulless can fly, but are probably a little weaker. This ability makes them inaccesable for shotr range units - they can fly on a very high hill. Instead of arrows they use a barbed spear anointed with a venom. Sounds dangerous, but...

Myrmidon
They're faster but weaker than warriors. They look lovely :) . That's how Bungie describes them: "Their decayed bodies are held together by bandages and a ravenous desire to slaughter". Cool. They cost 2 points

2. Very quick, almost as quick as ghols

Trow
Heads down. You're facing the strongest unit in the game. A trow is almost immortal and can easily kill an army. He kills almost every unit with one hit! The number of trows can tell you if you will win or loose. Thanks to their amazing strenght thay are very good at offence. Don't let them stand around, you're wasting them. Now the cost(ouch..) : 23 points. They're worth that!

2. They kill soulless, thralls, warriors, myrmidons very easily.
3. They are not hurt by wights and lightning.
4. They can go up big hills and under deep water
Weaknesses
1. Very expensive
2. Zerks in groups can kill them easily
3. About 15 spiders can kill a trow!
4. Dwarves, don't kick them , especially heroes
Wight
Very, very slow and weak creature. It's difficult to get a wight close enough to do any damage(see strategies).To tell the truth, they can be killed by 3 arrows. Their death causes a huge explosion and a wight fever. Remember that wights don much more damage on light maps than on dark.

2. Can blow cocktails and setchels
3. Wight parts cause wight fever
4. Great against groups of thralls, zerks, myrmidons...
Weaknesses
1. Slowest units in the game
2. Very weak
3. Can kill your own units
Berserker
This is an unarmoured, but very fast creature. They have less Hit Points than warriors, but are much better. Get half a dozen of these guys and watch them seeze destruction. They are weak fighters against Trow (in small groups) so be aware fo them. They're twice as cheap as dwarves and never get tired. You decide...

1. Great against almost every unit in bigger groups
2. Very fast and good at offense
3. They kick spiders really well
4. The best unit comparing to its cost

3. Dwarves
Dwarf
This small creature reminds me of Christmas. But the only presenet they bring is a molotov cocktail or a setchel mine. This makes them extremely powerful. Cocktails are a really devastating weapon both for you and for the enemy. They can also lay setchel charges which blow up with even more devastating power. They use hills very well. How to use them? See . They cost 6 points which is quite a lot. Train them and don't let them get killed.

2. Can kill groups of all meele units really fast
3. Their setchels do a great damage
4. They can make a dwarven battery
5. Veteran dawrves really kick ass
6. A hero dwarf when well used can even kill a trow!
Weaknesses
1. Quite slow and weak
2. Vulnerble to lightning and arrows
3. Their charges can kill your own men
4. They throw at your own men quite often
Journeyman
Journeyman is a healer, an unit very commonly met in strategies. Healers always were the way to success in strategies such as warcraft. Now we have a Journeyman with his shovel. I have to admit he didn't impress me at all, he is weak and almost useless in the haste of combat. They cost 6 points, so trade them as fast as possible.

1. Can heal units
2. They are quite good against thralls
3. This is a good one, take them to heal huge units like Forest Giants.
Weaknesses
1. Very expensive
2. Not usefull on multiplayer levels
Strenghts
Ghol
They are extremely fast and speed is their main strenght. I really like them for eliminating enemy archers and dwarves and flanking the enemy. They're also good at picking unused explosives and throwing them at enemies. An example of a cheap but good unit. They cost 2 points.

4. Can pick up wight parts and throw them at enemies

Fetch
I personally adore lightnings. Fetch are one of my favourite units because of their weapon - lightning. Fetch shoot lightning bolt with devasting power. But watch it. Lightning is a wonder of nature so don't mess with it. It can be dangerous for anyone in the range of fire. Get a few Fetch and they will get rid of enemy units in extremely short time.

5. Leghtning blows setchels up

Forest Giant
This is the light trow. In fact they and trows hate one other. Forest giants behave almost exactly like their bigges enemies. I noticed that they hate water and "freeze" in it for a short while. These guys really kick ass, so take as you would take trows.

Cave spider
They don't seem to be too good. They're weak and slower than ghols. Often used for killing wights and lone archers. I really don't choose them too often (the only reason is when I'm playing Territories, STB etc. and have no ghols), cause they are very vulnerable to berserkers. Berserks kill them so quickly, that it's like a trow and a thrall.

Alric
One of the special creatures. Alric is one of your wizards which was kidnapped by your enemies. You have to free him in The Five Champions Mission and run away with him in Out Of The Barrier mission. This mission is really cool, cause Alric shows his power and it's not even funny for enemies. I would change him for 10 trows...You can see his power in the Pools of Iron level

Soulblighter
One of your biggest enemies. I just put this picture here, cause I think it's cool :).

Balor
Definetelly your biggest enemy. He has a magic sword which works like a fetch lightning but is 100 times better in results. This guy is really difficult to kill!
