TTB Very Unprofessional
Westgate Timeshare Resort Issues
Date of Incident: 5/15/2003
First of all, we drove all the way from Norfolk, VA to go to this presentation. When we arrived (under the assumption that we would stay on the Westgate Resort property- Not a soon to be Westgate Ramada Inn) we were redirected to another sub-contracted resort, by the name of Blue Tree Resort. And of course, we were very disappointed in the appearance of the property. The property appeared to be out dated, we a terrible color scheme, very small rooms, and they had the nerve to ask for $19k. Not to mention, how the salesperson treated us. Just because we are African American our salesperson who was of the same race tried to relate to us on some street level. Neither myself or my husband were raised in the "hood" so therefore there was no relation.
The atmosphere was very unprofessional. They had loud music coming from the overhead speakers and the other salespeople were dancing on the presentation floor- I mean totally ridiculous!!!
I was very disappointed especially with making a 14 hour drive there with a two-year old and a 3 month old baby.
I would definitely recommend NO ONE to go there, not even my worst enemy.
