"Who will rise to achieve greatness?
Who will make the vertical run?"

(The scene opens up to find Stone driving up in his truck out in back of the arena. He gets out of the truck with a gym bag and belt in hand, as he approaches the doors, President Merrix appears and whispers something into Stone's ear. A tear can be seen in Stone's eye as he hands the title to President Merrix and walks away with a pat on the back. We fade into another shot, outside the McNichols Sports Arena. A sun setting casting an orange glow on everything. A huge crowd of crazed fans are on line to get in at the admissions gates. A large sign displaying the BEW logo and the words, "Vertical Run, Live Tonight!" comes into focus as the camera raises up. The camera makes a gradual closeup on this sign. When it's so close it starts to get blurry, the scene fades to black and "Rocket Queen" by Guns n' Roses kicks up, blasting inside the sold out arena. Everywhere fans can be seen holding signs up in the air trying to get on camera. Pyros shoot straight up in front of the entranceway and fireworks go off from the center of the ring in a criscross pattern. On the turnbuckles explosions are seen, like thunder. And above the ring in midair, pyro design of the letters "BEW". The ring itself is decorated with a large Vertical Run logo, the ropes are red, the buckles a light gray and the apron and mats a darker gray. The camera picks this up with various shots before panning over the crowd again, the voice of an announcer is heard as the lights come up and the pyros accompanied by the music, cease.

Marty Scott: BEW fans everywhere, welcome to the McNichols Sports Arena here in the Rocky Mountains! Big East Wrestling continues it's drive West with our return to pay per view, this is Vertical Run!

James Bates: And what a lineup we have tonight! A number one contenders match, the winner of that match involving Shawn Twilight, Jaigo, and the returning Devastator, will face Jamie Williams, the "Heir to the Future"!

Marty Scott: Is it me, or does Jamie seem to be caring less and less about the belt? Because I'm hoping for a blockbuster main event tonight like the one we had Paranoia, I'm putting my money on Jaigo or Devastator.

James Bates: I'll have to go with the most decorated champion you've ever seen, of course I'm talking about Shawn Twilight. Despite the odds of facing two members of the same stable, remember that he beat up on the Fatal Charms at the first AOWF, and this Revolution hasn't proven it's cohesiveness yet.

Marty Scott: How true James, other then that we have three title matches and two matches featuring the newest stars of the BEW. Craig Connors is in the ring, this is pay per view, this is Vertical Run, this is the BEW at it's best....

Craig Conners: Introducing the first participant in this match-up, weighing in at two-hundred fifty-one pounds, and standing at six-feet four-inches. He hails from PhoenixVille, Pennsylvania… and if a former IYFW US champion as well as a IYFW Television champion, here is Nova!

(“Smells Like Teen Spirit” by: Nirvana, begins to blast over the arena PA system, as Nova breaks through the curtains to a mixed reaction from the crowd, he makes his way down the aisle and slides into the ring.)

Craig Conners: And now introducing the second competitor in this match, weighing in at two-hundred seventy-five pounds, and standing at six-feet five-inches. He is a former ACW Television champion… and is a member of the Revolution. Here is Sage!

(“Dark Spirit” by: Insane Clown Posse, begins to blare throughout the arena, as Sage steps out from behind the curtains, to a nice reaction from the crowd. He makes his way down the aisle, and steps into the ring.)

***DING, DING***

Marty Scott: And there’s the bell, and this match gets off to a quick start… Nova and Sage lock up in the middle of the ring, Nova with a knee into the stomach of Sage, doubling him over, and plants an elbow down into the neck of Sage, and whips him into the ropes.

James Bates: Sage bounces back, and Nova catches him with a clothesline, sending him to the mat with force, Nova quickly picks Sage to his feet… and pushes him back intot he turnbuckle, he lays in two chops to his chest, and whips him straight across the ring. Nova follows in, but Sage with the backbody drop, sends Nova over top the top rope, and to the floor.

Marty Scott: Sage quickly, follows to the outside… and lifts Nova to his feet, he smashes his face into the steel ring post. Not once, but twice… before, whipping him straight into the steel ring steps.

James Bates: Sage now, tosses Nova back inside the ring… and follows in. Inside the ring… Sage with a few kicks on the downed Nova, before bringing him back to his feet… Sage, puts him into a headlock… and drops him to the mat with a DDT.

Marty Scott: Sage with the cover, in hopes of an early victory.

1…

2…

Marty Scott: But no Nova, kicks out rather easily. Sage leaves Nova down on the mat, and drops a quick leg drop across his throat. Sage now lifts Nova to his feet, and whips him into the ropes… Sage, ducks down to early with a back body drop, and Nova catches him with a boot to the chin, knocking Sage backwards and to the mat.

James Bates: Nova back on the attack quickly, bounces off the nearest roipes, and drops an elbow to the sternum of Sage. Nova hooks the leg…

1…

Marty Scott: Sage kicks out at the one count, with ease… Nova lifts Sage to his feet, and pushes him into the corner, before whipping him across the ring. Sage bounces out of the corner, and Nova catches him with a huge running lariat!

James Bates: Nova once again lifts Sage to his feet, and whips him into the ropes… Sage bounces back, and tries for a flying cross body, but Nova catches him… and drops him down with a huge powerslam!

Marty Scott: Nova with the quick cover…

1…

2…

Marty Scott: But Sage kicks out at the two count, Nova lifts Sage to his feet once more… he grabs him around the waist, and lifts him high in the air… and drops him with a belly to belly suplex, driving him into the canvas.

James Bates: Nova hops up onto the top turnbuckle, sitting down on it… he prepares himself, and elbow drop to the forehead of Sage. Nova lifts Sage again to his feet… and pushes him into the turnbuckle, he lays in a few punches… before whipping him across, but Sage reverses and irish whips Nova into the turnbuckle, Sage follows in with a huge knee lift to the ribs of Nova.

Marty Scott: Sage hooks up Nova, and lifts him up onto the top turnbuckle, and follows up as well, still hooked in a suplex position. Sage looks towards the crowd, for a second… before lifting Nova in the air, and dropping him down to the canvas from the top turnbuckle, with a superplex!

James Bates: Sage with a few kicks to the chest of Nova… and he drops an elbow to the sternum of Nova, before lifting him to his feet. He sets him up for a reverse suplex here, could we see the Innovator? Sage lifts him up, but Nova flips over top… and knee to the back of Sage, Nova hooks on and reverse DDT sending him crashing to the canvas.

Marty Scott: Nova with the cover, he doesn’t hook the leg.

1…

2…

Marty Scott: And Sage with the foot on the ropes… Nova visibly angry with the referee, Sage from behind… hooks up Nova, lifts him into a reverse suplex, and down into a diamond cutter, it’s the Innovator. And its all over for Nova!

1…

2…

3…

James Bates: And Sage goes home with a well earned victory here tonight on Vertical Run! This is such an exciting event so far and we've got lots more where that came from.

Marty: Speaking of which, our next matchup features The Living Legend Kaos versus Micheal "Ice Cold" O'Sullivan. This should be a good test for Kaos here in the BEW and O'Sullivan looks to get on track after a rocky start. Take it away Craig.

Craig Conners: Introducing first, standing 6 feet 1 inch, weighing 255 lbs. He is being escorted by the Leprechaun, He is the master of Irish Eyes. I present Micheal "Ice Cold" O'Sullivan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"Ice Ice Baby" by Vanilla Ice hits the P.A., Ice Cold steps from behind followed by the Leprechaun. He is wearing an Irish Flag as a cape. He recieves a mixed reaction as the crowd is still not sure how to react to the colorful O'Sullivan. He rolls under the bottom rope as Craig starts to talk again .

Craig Conners: His opponent stands in 6 feet 6 inches and tips the scale at 260 lbs. He is the master of the Kaos Driver. He is known as the Living Legend I present Kaos!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hip hop music mixed with some rap plays as he walks down the aisle. He is wearing his patented black trunks with Kaos in Red letters. He has black hair with blond highlights, he steps into the ring. The two lock up as the bell rings, Kaos shrugs off O'Sullivan, who bounces up quickly as he meets a right hand by Kaos. Kaos with a knee to the midsection as he whips O'Sullivan into the ropes as he lands a big back body drop. He follows up with a reverse chinlock. The ref checks to make sure it isn't a choke.

James: Kaos moves pretty well for a big strong guy. He definately could go far here in the BEW. He has all the tools.

Marty: No doubt about it, However it won't be easy as he tries to make his way up the ladder. Every BEW superstar will try to knock him down. Don't count out O'Sullivan just yet. He's had a string of bad luck, he may break out of it tonight.

O'Sullivan to his feet, he lands an elbow, follows with another has some space as he bounces off the ropes and floors Kaos with a shoulder tackle. Kaos back to his feet and he gets body slammed. O'Sullivan with a leg drop, and a cover

1...

2...

Kaos is out. O'Sullivan backs Kaos into the corner and starts to fire away with rights and lefts using his vast background as a pugilist. Kaos slumps to the middle turnbuckle, O'Sullivan turns to the ref who admonishes him and as he turns back gets a thumb to the eyes by Kaos. Kaos back to his feet as he nails a bulldog, Kaos up on the middle turnbuckle. He leaps off with a flying forearm and it connects. He covers

1...

2...

Ice Cold kicks out,

Marty: Ice Cold had Kaos going there for a while, Kaos the veteran that he is saw an opportunity to take an advantage, And boy did he. He's got O'Sullivan reeling and he better finish him off if he's gonna see the pay winda if you weel.

James: Talk about a lisp

Marty: Huh?????

James: Nevermind.

O'Sullivan to a vertical base but Kaos kicks him in the gut and delivers a double under hook suplex. He climbs up to the the top turnbuckle, O'Sullivan to his feet a little woozy, Kaos jumps off, Kaos Driver. He covers

1...

2...

3...

Craig Conners: Your winner Kaos!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Marty: A nice matchup put on by these two guys, O'Sullivan once again met with disappointment, and KAOS got off on the right foot. We have a promo for you now while the ring is setup for the Hardcore title match, we'll be right back.

James: As the cage lowers for our Hardcore title match up and we get underway, I'd like to say, Kaos was on top of his game here tonight at Vertical Run.

Marty: He sure was, he has a bright future here in the BEW. As you mentioned the first of our title bouts should be a doozy as we crown a new Hardcore champion. Life takes on Jarrik Carr and Jason Creed. Craig take it away.

Craig Conners: This match is for the vacant Hardcore title. It is a barbed wire, cell match in which the winner will be the one to gain the pinfall or submission. Introducing first representing the M.o.A., standing 5 feet 11 inches, weighing 163 pounds. He is the master of the Myrical Maker. I give you Life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"Hot Boys Hot Girls" by the No Limit Crew hits the speakers, Life steps onto the runway wearing a blue and gold un-buttoned sleveless Fubu baseball jersey. He is also wearing baggy Fubu jeans and a pair of white superstars with red stripes down the sides. He also is sporting a familiar pair of Red Oakleys. The crowd reacts with disdain towards Life as he plays it off and enters the ring.

Craig Conners: His next opponent is a member of the Revolution, He stands 6 feet 6 inches and tips the scales at 293 pounds. He is the master of The Break. I give you Jason "Blade" Creed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"Freak on a Leash" by Korn hits the PA as the crowd starts to give him a pop he steps on the rampway in a pair of blue jeans, black boots and fingerless gloves. He poses a couple of times as he makes his way to the ring.

Craig Conners: Their opponent representing the Guild, standing 6 feet 10 inches and weighs in at 297 and one half pounds. He is the master of the Shit Packer. I present to you Jarrik "Obaka" Carr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"Omen" by DMX & Marilyn Manson hits the PA, Carr comes out wearing his black denim shorts, black boots, and his outrageous blonde hair and red hair combination. He pauses for a second and puts up a finger and tells the crowd to wait a minute something's not right, he returns with a garbage can full of weapons as he approaches the ring. The crowd enjoying it, gives him a decent pop. The cell lowers as the competitors are locked in the cell wrapped in barbed wire.

James: This is a powder keg and its about to explode. Only on a BEW pay per view extravaganza!

Marty: You got that right James, this should be very entertaining.

The bell goes off as Carr grabs a bat out of the garbage can and smashes it into Creed's midsection. He turns to Life who greets him with a drop kick sending Carr into the cage and barbwire. Carr bounces off and is met with another dropkick sending him back in. Creed gets to his feet grabs the bat that Carr dropped smashes it off Life's back who drops to his knees. Creed picks him up and throws him head first into the cage. Life, as he bounces off is nailed with a DDT. He covers

1...

2...

Carr grabs a chair and breaks the count with a vicious chair shot as Carr looks to be busted open.

Marty: Did you see that chair shot on Creed?! That dent in the chair is huge.

James: Oh man that was some impact. This match is intense all three are bleeding like hogs now.

Carr flips the garbage over as the rest of the weapons spill throughout the ring. He puts the garbage can over Life's head and he lifts him up piledriver. Carr covers.

1...

2...

Creed with the save. Creed and Carr trade punches. Creed drops to his knee and pulls Carr toward the cage wall into the barb wire. Carr standing there as Creed comes from behind and rakes Carr's head back and forth on the barb wire. Life to his feet as he grabs a toaster and smashes it over Creed's head. Life then wipes the blood from his face. He then sets up the chair and he bounces off the opposite ropes, jumps off the chair, and nails a cross body onto Carr. Both men tumble to the ground and Life rolls over and covers Carr.

1...

2...

Carr gets his left shoulder up.

James: Did you see Life jump into the air he must have got 6 or 7 feet with that one. If Carr would have moved I don't know how Life could have continued, just death defying action.

Marty: Where else would you see a toaster? Only in the BEW. I don't know how these guys can continue to keep dealing out all of this punishment.

Life jumps up to the top turnbuckle as Carr gets to feet, He tries a hurricaranna but Carr catches him and drops him into a powerbomb on top of the chair. Carr covers.

1...

2...

3... Creed saves Life at the last possible second. Creed throws a left but Carr ducks and clotheslines Creed hard to the mat. Carr signals for the Shit Packer. He picks Creed up but Creed grabs a hammer on his way up. As Creed goes up in the air he naails Carr with the hammer. Creed falls on top of Carr

1...

2...

3... Nooooo Life with a dropkick to break the count.

Marty: Every time someone gets a bit of advantage someone gets a burst of energy to break the count. It's just amazing to see three guys who want this title very bad. Whoever comes out will be deserving of that Hardcore title, following in the footsteps of greats like MoV and Flesh

James: You got that right, look at Creed's face I don't know how he can see with that gash over his right eye. Carr's forehead is busted open. Blood is everywhere!

Creed pulled up by Life and he drags him over toward the corner. He hops up to the second turnbuckle and leaps off attempting Myrical Maker 2. Creed catches him and repositions him and then deposits him into the mat on top of the trash can with THE BREAK. He covers

1...

2...

3...

Craig Conners: Your winner and new Hardcore Champion...Jason "Blade" Creed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Marty Scott: What a victory for Jason Creed here tonight! He got a little bit of revenge on Jarrik Carr for that loss a few weeks back, and he is the Hardcore champion!

James Bates: What hard hitting action we've had thus far at Vertical Run, Marty. Amazing stuff as always.

Marty Scott: Well said James. As the ring is put back to it's original look we'll take you to a promo once again. Next up, Rouge versus Extreme Warrior, the rematch for the BEW Television title!

-Promo-

James Bates: Welcome back to the McNichols Sports Arena and Vertical Run, the BEW's return to pay per view, last time we were on was Night of Armageddon in March.

Marty Scott: Well the last official BEW pay per view was back in January at Slugfest '99 where Twilight walked out champ defeating Virus and the Underlord.

James Bates: Ahhhh the memories, things have gone downhill since Shawn was champ.

Marty Scott: I beg to differ.

James Bates: So what?

Craig Conners: Introducing first, weighing in at two-hundred fifty-one pounds, and standing at six-feet four and a half inches. He hails from Los Angeles, California. He is a member of the Revolution… and is a former IYFW Tag Team champion, and a former UWF Tag Team champion. He is acompanied to the ring by Sage and Blade. He is the current BEW Television champion, here is Darren ‘Rougue’ Ridel!

(“The Immortals” by: Encounter the Ultimate, begins to blast throughout the arena as the crowd jumps to their feet, cheering on the member of the Revolution… he makes his way down the aisle, and slides into the ring. Before jumping up onto the turnbuckle, and raising the gold to the fans.)

Craig Conners: And now introducing the challenger, weighing in at two-hundred seventy-six pounds, and standing at six-feet one-inch. He hails from Parts Unknown, and is a former BEW Television champion, as well as a member of the Masters of Armageddon. Here is the Extreme Warrior!

(“Sad but True” by: Metallica, begins to blare over the arena’s PA system… as Extreme Warrior steps out from behind the curtains along with Jamie Williams, in his hands a bow and arrows along with a hatchet. He places them in his corner, and slides into the ring.)

Marty Scott: And here we go with the Television title match, and what may I ask is the reasoning for bring the hatchet, bow and arrows to ringside?

James Bates: I’m not sure myself, but it can’t be anything good for Darren Ridel in this match…

***DING, DING***

Marty Scott: And there’s the bell… EW quickly, goes after Darren Ridel… who was still preparing himself in the corner. EW with a few punches to the jaw of Ridel, before whipping him across the ring… EW races across, and follows in with a clothesline, and Ridel falls out of the corner… and into the hands of EW.

James Bates: EW quickly… whips him into the ropes, and hits a nice back body drop into the middle of the ring, EW bounces off the ropes himself… and drops an elbow into the sternum of Ridel. EW goes for the cover, hooking the leg.

1…

2…

Marty Scott: But, no… EW does not get the early victory on Vertical Run. EW lifts Ridel to his feet once more, and hooks him up… and snap suplex, EW still holds on… and snap suplex once again.

James Bates: EW doesn’t go for the quick pin this time… instead he lifts Ridel to his feet once more, and pushes him back into the turnbuckle, he whips him across again. EW follows in, but Ridel bounces out and hits a huge clothesline on EW!

Marty Scott: And EW quickly retreats to the outside… but, Ridel quickly follows him…he grabs his head, and… smashes it down across the steel ring steps. Now, Ridel throws him back into the ring… and follows him, he lifts EW to his feet… and whips him into the ropes, Ridel with a knee to the gut, doubling EW over… and Ridel slams his face down to the mat!

James Bates: Ridel lifts EW to his feet once more and pushes him back into the turnbuckle… Ridel steps up, and pounds away on the skull of EW, one, two, three, four, five… and now he steps down… and pulls EW out of the corner, and flips him over with a snap mare, before latching on a chinlock, while jamming his knee into his spine.

Marty Scott: Ridel doesn’t hold onto the move for long, he lifts EW to his feet… and hooks him up for a suplex, he lifts him high into the air… holding him there for a few seconds, but chooses to drop him into a brain buster!

James Bates: Ridel now with the cover…

1…

2…

James Bates: But, EW manages to kick out from that attempt. Ridel lifts him to his feet once more… and sets him up, for what looks to be a piledriver… and he connects. Ridel however, does not go for the cover this time… but, instead turns EW over, and attaches a camel clutch, and he’s really pulling back on the chin of EW, really trying to injure the neck area of EW, who has already, taken a brain buster and piledriver.

Marty Scott: Now Ridel releases the hold, and lifts EW to his feet… and shoves him back into the corner, and whips him across. Ridel follows in, but EW with a boot to the face… EW climbs to the second turnbuckle, quickly while Ridel is still stunned… and bulldog! EW doesn’t go for the cover, with a surge of energy… he picks Ridel to his feet once more, hooks him up… and suplex into the middle of the ring.

James Bates: EW now… lifts Ridel back to his feet, once again not going for the pin, he whips him into the ropes, and… huge kick to the chest of Ridel, knocking the wind out of him, as well as knocking him back against the ropes. EW, bounces off the ropes… and clothesline over the top with Ridel!

Marty Scott: EW grabs Ridel on the outside, and irish whip into the guardrail, EW grabs him… and whips him into the steel ring post, before slamming his head down onto the spanish announce table.

James Bates: EW throws him back into the ring… he throws him into the ropes once more, EW with a clothesline, Ridel ducks… EW turns around, and dropkick from Ridel knocking EW to the mat. Ridel quickly… lifts EW to his feet, and drives him to the mat with a DDT.

Marty Scott: Ridel not finished, hooks in a STF… they are in the middle of the ring, there really is no chance that EW can get out of this hold, unless Ridel releases it. EW however, not one to submit... just repeats 'no’ to the referee, he will not submimt. He really wants the gold back.

James Bates: EW looks like he’s in a lot of pain, but Ridel seems to not give a damn about that, as he continuously puts pressure on the STF… EW still not giving up, and Ridel seems to have just given up, as he’s already damaged EW. He lifts EW to his feet… and back down with a bodyslam, Ridel bounces on the ropes, and leg drop weakening the neck a little more.

Marty Scott: Ridel lifts EW to his feet… Ridel hooks him up, EW with a punch to the ribs… and EW with the reversal and suplex!

James Bates: EW quickly now, lifts Ridel to his feet… and whips him into the ropes, before kicking him in the gut, setting him up, and delivering a powerbomb to Ridel.

Marty Scott: EW moves Ridel over to the corner, and EW… up onto the top rope, this could be the end for Ridel, and EW with the Extreme Drop a 360 spin into a frog splash, down onto Ridel. The cover…

1…

2…

3…

James Bates: And EW goes home with the Television gold once more, and quickly Williams sets a table up onto the top rope, and EW grabs the bow and arrows. EW grabs a blindfold from his tights, and is ready to place it around his eyes. But, Sage and Blade into the ring… and EW from above with a dropkick, knocking Blade off his feet… and now Williams, says something to EW, and both men leave the ringside area.

Marty Scott: What a match, what a rematch, and Extreme Warrior is the Television champion for a second time! The first man in BEW history to hold any title twice I might add!

James Bates: Until Shawn grabs the World title again.

Marty Scott: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Don't count all your eggs before they've hatched James. Ladies and gentlemen, we have two matches left this evening. Here's a new organazation's plug, when we come back, the US title match.

James Bates: Smalltime feds buying up time on our events to promote themselves? What's Merrix thinking?!

Coming soon to North America is the North America Wrestling Federation. There's feds in the east, feds in the south, feds across seas, but there's no fed for North America.

With headquarters based in Des Moines, Iowa. This federation will travel across North America putting on shows for the fans. There is no plan as to who will win and who will lose. These wrestlers make or break their careers. The North America Wrestling Federation is a career making fed. For those of you who are interested in wrestling, stop at NAWF headquarters. It may be small at the moment but we promise you, it's on the rise.

Any questions feel free to call President Sable.

James Bates: Oh now I see why Merrix let it on his program, no real worry I guess.

Marty Scott: Never can tell.

James: Our next match is for the US title, It was supposed to be Stone defending against War and Jon Clark. However Stone will not be defending as he vacated the title earlier tonight as you saw. From a report I was handed, Dtone had some family problems to take care and he's taken an absence, best wishes to him. Now to the match....

Marty: It will definitely be a battle between two powerful wrestlers, two proven wrestlers. It will definitely be interesting how it plays out.

James: Good point. War tries to get back on track and Clark returns to the BEW in search of a taste of gold. Craig the honor is yours.

Craig Conners: Introducing First, standing 6 feet 7 inches. Weighing in at 267 pounds. He is master of the Vertical DDT. I give you Jon Clark!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy Pill by 16 Volt is being played as Jon Clark appears on the runway. He has a determined look on his face as he walks confidently down the aisle. The crowd unsure of his attitude still gives him a pretty good pop. He warms up streching on the ropes awaiting his opponent.

Craig Conners: His opponent stands in 6 feet 8 inches, weighes in at 320 pounds. He is the master of the Atomic Bomb. Here is War!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Somebody's Gotta Die by Notorious B.I.G. hits the PA as the crowd starts to boo. He appears in his gold colored robe. He starts to jaw with some fans even so much as threatens to hit one before he sets his eyes on Clark. He rolls into the ring and immeadiately a staring contest between the two ensues.

Marty: You can cut the tension with a knife, Man I've always wanted to say that and "From downtown Yes!!!!!!". Now I've said them both.

James: I thought your name was Marty not Marv, and by the way you got a hot lunch I mean date later?

Marty: Uh Uh No.

The two men start to jaw with each. War starts it quickly as the bell rings with a kick to the midsection and he follows it up with a big left hand. Clark slumps to the corner but he pokes War in the eye and spins War around and DDT's him hard to mat. War on his knees and Clarks whips him into the ropes. War ducks a clothesline attempt and then nails a big boot to the Jaw of Clark. Clark falls to the mat. War jaws a little bit with the ref before applying a reverse chinlock.

James: Some great action by these two it promises to be a great match up between the two.

Marty: Yeah definitely and already this has been an incredible Vertical Run. And still alot more to come. We will see that great main event yet.

Clark gets to his feet and belly to back suplexes War out of boots. He makes a quick cover

1...

2...

War kicks out with ease. Clark still on the offensive as he suplexes War over. And then he snaps on the figure four. War screams out in pain. War scoots towards the ropes. He then falls flat on the mat. The ref holds up War's hand once, twice, the third time he starts to gain some momentum. He then scoots towards the ropes. The ref calls for a break.

James: Man these guys are pulling out all the stops. This match has been real intense.

Marty: If Clark was smart he'd go for the jugular and finish War off while he has the advantage. War is a cagey veteran and he shouldn't be played with it will come back to haunt Clark.

Clark start to come in toward War but War drops down and delivers a low blow. War is still limping a little bit. But he delivers a powerful body slam. He follows that up with a knee drop to Clark's face. He covers

1...

2...

Clark gets his left shoulder up. War picks Clark up and whips him to the corner and he follows in but Clark get his foot up in time. He climbs the top rope but War recovers and punches Clark causing him to fall straddling the top rope. War mounts the top rope as well and he delivers a belly to belly suplex from the top rope. Both men are down.

1...

2...

3...

4...

5...

6... War rolls over and covers

1...

2...

3.. Noooooo Clark got his shoulder up at the last possible second.

Marty: The impact from that move was tremendous. I can't believe Clark got out of that one.

James: war needs to put the finishing touches on Clark now. Before Clark finds a second wind.

War signals for the end as he puts Clark in position for his Atomic Bomb but Clark low blows him and he follows up with a running Gutwrench powerbomb of his own. He falls on top of him almost in exhaustion to make the cover.

1...

2...

3... No War draped his left foot across the bottom rope. The ref caught it just in time. clark motions to the crowd as they start to buzz with anticipation of the end near. Clark lifts War up but War blocks it and rotates behind and delivers a crisp russian leg sweep. He covers

1...

2...

Clark is out. War thinks he has him as he attempts another Atomic Bomb however Clark collapses to the mat. War picks him up again but Clark must have recovered and rolls up War.

1...

2...

3...

Craig Conners: Your winner and new United States Champion Jon Clark!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

War rolls out cursing at himself and he jaws with a few fans while he walks out. Clark then holds the belt high in the air while flipping off the crowd. He then asks for a mic.

- Clark Well didn't I say I was back home? When I finally get a title shot, I prove to the World exactly what I was talking about. A break from wrestling, yeah people thought I wouldn't do jack shit, but well, I am here, and I am now your United States Champion, and if anyone out there really thinks they have what it takes to take this gold from Jon Clark.. Let me know. WAR wasn't much of a contest for me.. I'm waiting...

(With that Clark leaves with the belt over his shoulder.)

Marty Scott: What a matchup, and what a win for Jon Clark! A man who didn't have much luck in his first run but in his first match back, takes out a superstar like WAR. Amazing.

James Bates: And the time has come at last, the number one contenders match directly followed by a World title match. These Colorado fans are pysched as you listen in. I hear the three competitors are getting ready in the back. Why wait any longer? Craig please kick this thing off.

Craig Connors: Ladies and gentlemen, this is the number one contenders matchup with the winner getting a World title shot immediately after this match! Before I introduce you to the combatants let me announce the special referee for this matchup. He is a former BEW US titleholder and the last WCIWA Intercontinental champion. He will recieve a World title shot this coming June in Waikiki Beach, Hawaii. BEW fans I give you "Flyin" Bryan Mercy!

("Running With The Devil" by Van Halen is heard as Bryan appears on the rampway in referee stripes and shorts. He has his hands on his hips and takes in the cheering before heading to the ring with a motion somewhere between a walk jog. He goes to the top buckle and points to the sky before jumping into the ring where he waits, as Craig continues.)

Craig Connors: Now then. Introducing the first participant, standing at 6 feet and seven inches he weighs in tonight at 265 pounds. From Asbury Park, New Jersey he gets his second chance at the BEW World Heavyweight title tonight, a member of the Revolution, he is Jaigo!

("What's Your Alias" by Mystikal starts up on the P.A. and the fans stand up in a mixed reaction. Jaigo appears from behind the curtains. Dressed in his usual attire he walks to the ring with a bounce in his step and slides in under the bottom rope. His music fades out and "The Immortals" by Encounter The Ultimate replaces it. The fans hit the roof with cheers as the lights dim and a spotlight hits the entranceway.)

Craig Connors: Participant number two is also a member of the Revolution. He is a man born of mystery and forged with pain. Weighing 246 pounds and standing tall at six four he is a former BEW World Heavyweight champion seeking to become the first man to hold that belt twice, he is Devastator!

(Devastator walks out from behind the curtains, the spotlight on him as he walks slowly and assuredly to the ring. Keeping focused on Jaigo as fans reach over the railing trying to get contact with him, he walks up the ringsteps and waits across from Jaigo. Craig still in center ring.)

Craig Connors: And the final participant needs no introduction. From Sunset Beach, the man of Forever and then some. The master of the Hero Suplex, he too will try for his second BEW World title reign as he goes against the odds. Standing six feet, two inches, weighing 231 pounds. Accompanied by Sidney and Drake, Shawn Twilight!

("Hate Me Now" by Nas picks up and fireworks start to go off as Shawn appears with his two companions. A cocky grin on as always he gets a great pop from the crowd, being closer to the Pacific then usual. He walks slowly and confidently ignoring the fans around him as he gets up on the apron and steps through the ropes. Circling the ring with Drake and Sidney on the outside, eying Jaigo and Dev. Craig gets out of the ring just as the bell sounds.)

Marty Scott: Shawn's in over his head with these two guys being from the same stable. And here we go! Dev and Jaigo charge at Shawn and crush him! Dev pounding away on him as is Jaigo, and look at that guy Drake, standing on the apron, you'd think this was a tag match.

James Bates: Can you really blame Twilight! He has to keep it fair, bringing his man out won't hurt him at all.

Marty Scott: Yeah but it can hurt the other two legal men involved in this match. Look at this, I forgot about the other pro-Twilight member of this match. Mercy's telling Dev to let go off that front facelock.

James Bates: And he does and there's Jaigo off the ropes with a big elbowdrop! Jaigo now dragging the dazed Twilight to his feet and a slap to the face and there's Dev from behind with a double axe-handle across the back! Shawn falls to his knees.

Marty Scott: He's in trouble now and Jaigo pulling him back to his feet again, a thumb to the eye! And Shawn with a drop-toe hold and he pops back up with a clothesline on Dev and Shawn's knocked both men down!

James Bates: What did I tell you Marty? Huh? What?

Marty Scott: Give me a break, this match is far from over....Twilight moving over to Jaigo now and he brings him up by the hair, Dev up also and he's going after Shawn, a quick spinning heel kick and Dev is floored again.

James Bates: But that gave Jaigo enough time to gather himself up and lock Shawn in for an atomic drop, followed by a bulldog! Mercy admonishing Jaigo for something, that's the good official! About damn time.

Marty Scott: You really are fixed in your opinons aren't you? Dev is going for Shawn's legs and he has a figure four locked on, Jaigo assisting him with a falling fist and several body splashes off the ropes! Mercy breaking it up and Jaigo pushes him aside!

James Bates: He's going for the second buckle, he jumps...wait Drake tripped him up and Jaigo fell right on his face! Ha ha ha ha!

Marty Scott: And Mercy's not doing anything about it, well, he's yelling something over to Drake but what good does that do?

James Bates: Well he can't turn his back on two cheaters like Devastator and Jaigo can he? Devastator whips Twilight to the ropes and Shawn ducks under a lariat and comes back witn another spinning heel kick! And follows it up with a second smack in Jaigo's throat!

Marty Scott: Shawn trying to keep the pace up but his legs must be hurting from that figure four. He has Dev in his clutches and he nails a fast DDT. Off the ropes a drop of the knee to the forehead of Dev. Jaigo up to his feet trying to get some air into his lungs, Shawn hit him hard. Shawn sees him and goes in for the kill.

James Bates: A lockup and Shawn lifts a knee to the ribs of Jaigo! Another! Another! Now a ridgehand chop, another, another! What a series of moves and Jaigo has been knocked for a loop. Twilight locks a sleeperhold on. Devastator is on one knee, he sees Twilight and lunges at him as he holds Jaigo.

Marty Scott: They all spill to the canvas. Dev is a like a wildman! He's up on his feet with Shawn in tow, and puts his head into the buckles, listen to these fans. Reverse DDT! Now he's going after Jaigo! Piledriver and he throws his stablemate onto the outside!

James Bates: I think he's lost it. Mercy starting the count on them as Jaigo gets thrown to the steel railing, Dev dives in, Jaigo moved and Dev bounces off with a thud. Jaigo with a dropkick and sends Dev to the mats.

Marty Scott: Shawn is catching his breath and here he comes at last, count starting over it seems. Jaigo with a chair and a fallen Devastator laid up against the steel steps. Jaigo walking over and he rears back, and *CRACK* oh my god!

James Bates: Devastator is busted open! There's Twilight and he spins Jaigo around and into a quick snap suplex onto those mats! Twilight rolls Devastator into the ring and goes in after, rolling back out now Mercy starts the count over, going pretty slow for Twilight.

Marty Scott: Jaigo stumbling around as Shawn grabs him and slaps on a simple armdrag takedown. Now a stomp to the head and Shawn brings him up again. Locking him into position he brings him up and a fireman's carry ram into the ringpost! What a show of strength by Shawn Twilight!

James Bates: Obviously been working out during his break from the ring. Devastator comes out of nowhere with a baseball slide that hits Shawn in the face! Twilight hits the railing and crashes to the mats. He didn't see that coming, Dev with a kick to Twilight's ribs and brings him to his feet, suplex! Leaving Shawn laying there motionless he has Jaigo, and rolls him into the ring and follows. A throw to the ropes and Jaigo catches Dev on the way in with a spinning neckbreaker!

Marty Scott: Seems Dev was looking for a backbody drop....

James Bates: I don't get this, why did they start beating on each other? They should've kept it up long enough to put Twilight out, then take each other out, I don't get these guys sometimes. Jaigo ascending the buckles, waiting, waiting, waiting, and flies off onto Dev with a cross body block! Dev was busy rising to his feet and he hit the mat hard!

Marty Scott: A cover.

2...

Marty Scott: And Twilight breaks it up with a dive! Damn Bryan had a slow count going there.

James Bates: Your eyes acting up again Marty?

Marty Scott: I saw what I saw, Jaigo looking furious and he nails Shawn with a right hand to the jaw that sends him reeling into the ropes. Jaigo reaches back and slaps on a clawhold! Twilight writhing in pain on the mat!

James Bates: There's Dev waiting just behind them. Shawn's got the ropes and Mercy trying to get him to break, Jaigo won't however, no surprise there. His feud with Shawn's been going on since the first days of the BEW.

Marty Scott: Finally Jaigo lets go and Dev finally makes his move locking Twilight in for a slingshot. And there it is! Shawn went flying across the ring! Jaigo got in position and dropped a leg across the chest with a nice followup, they're working together again?

James Bates: Looks like it, maybe they grew brains and decided my plan was best for them. A cover by Jaigo again. Mercy down.

1...

...

Marty Scott: Even slower then the first time before Dev broke it up! Dev now with a snap mare on Jaigo and follows it up with a crisp elbowdrop. He has Jaigo by the feet and what in the world is he doing?! A giant swing?

James Bates: Have a nice flight Jaigo.....

Marty Scott: He's got some momentum going and Dev lets go! Jaigo almost flew out of the ring as he hit the bottom rope and held on! Shawn trying to get rid of those cobwebs and Drake is leaning over the rope to talk with him.

James Bates: Dev has lost alot of blood from that cut on his forehead, and it's starting to affect him as he can't see very well. Jaigo hopped over the top rope and he's stalking in behind him! Full nelson applied....into a modified suplex! And Dev hurt his neck on that one!

Marty Scott: Mercy down to check on him, suprising to see that isn't it?

James Bates: Not really, he's as good a ref as he is a wrestler.

Marty Scott: Jaigo with a few stomps before turning his attention back to Shawn. Shawn reaching in his tights and Jaigo heads over to him, and a shot to the temple by Twilight! Jaigo is out cold!

James Bates: What power by Shawn!

Marty Scott: Hold on, he has brass knuckles on! That no good, low down cheater! I...I can't believe this. Twilight has Jaigo up and he looks around for a second before locking him in for a vicious powerbomb, what impact on Jaigo's shoulders!

James Bates: On a sidenote, Dev seems to be okay as Mercy is back to calling the match, an official came down to check but Dev shook him off. Speak of the devil, Dev's back to a vertical base and Twilight just hit a beautiful body slam on Jaigo.

Marty Scott: And they've met eye to eye, and the fans are on their feet! Shawn hits the ropes and charges in with another spinning heel kick but Dev blocked it and locks Shawn in for the belly to belly suplex! And he takes him for a ride!

James Bates: Dev is fired up as he locks Shawn in again, this time for what looks like a suplex, he hoists him up, and he's holding him up there. And he drops Shawn's legs across the top rope for a slingshot suplex!

Marty Scott: Nice execution on that one. Jaigo just kipped up and hit a flying shoulderblock knocking Devastator off his feet. Jaigo brings the bloodied Devastator to his feet and scoops him up, and puts him back down with a powerslam! Following it up with a legdrop. Shawn clips his knee from behind and hits a reverse DDT!

James Bates: Shawn standing over Jaigo and he goes down for a chokehold! Sidney getting a word in with ref Bryan Mercy and Shawn breaks the choke just in time. Shawn has Jaigo in position, Northern Lights Suplex! A cover.

1..2..

Marty Scott: Dev got there in the nick of time with a stomp to Twilight's back, now that was some fast counting by Mercy that time!

James Bates: Could've been a little faster, he doesn't have to be that slow.

Marty Scott: Arrgh, you're impossible sometimes.

James Bates: Just accept I'm right and you'll be fine. Shawn has done some considerable damage to Jaigo's shoulders with only a few moves, you know what that's for. Dev meanwhile has Irish whipped Shawn into the buckles and hit a big avalanche, followed with a huge superplex!

Marty Scott: A cover.

1...

..

2...

..

James Bates: Shawn barely kicked out of that one, Jaigo returning to the action now with a look of pain on his face, a rake to the eyes of Devastator. A whip to the ropes, spinebuster! A cover by Jaigo.

2...

...

3...

Marty Scott: No Dev kicked out this time! Mercy going as slow as ever by the way. Shawn in a collar and elbow tieup with Jaigo and Jaigo with the go-behind, and a smooth belly to back suplex! Back to work on Devastator now. He stands him up straight, and runs the ropes, Drake tripped Jaigo...again!

James Bates: Jaigo looks a tad frustrated and he's cursing at Drake who shrugs it off and hops down to the ring floor next to Sidney. Shawn with an elbow to the back of Dev's head and a quick rollup on the distracted Jaigo!

1...2...3...

Marty Scott: Jaigo kicked out! I think it was just the anger that gave him the strength, he's pretty mad at Drake for that tripup. Dev kneels down behind Shawn and Jaigo helps hit the schoolboy into a pin.

1...

Marty Scott: Kickout by Twilight!

James Bates: Jaigo nailing the bloodied Dev with lefts and rights and sends him to the ropes, Dev ducks a clothesline, and a crucifix pinning Jaigo!

1...
2...

Marty Scott: A decent count by Mercy for a change! But Shawn broke that up with a dive, lucky too, Jaigo wasn't kicking out of that one for sure. Twilight gets a kick to the midsection and a powerbomb for his efforts from Dev however!

James Bates: Dev lifts Jaigo up and starts to lay into him with fists. Jaigo blocks a left hand and starts to work over Dev! And he knocks him into the ropes, Dev is tied up! Jaigo starting in with kicks and chops now and Mercy is telling him to back off, he does so after a few last shots and Mercy is untying Dev.

Marty Scott: Twilight's gone into his tights again and he has Jaigo lined up, he goes for the shot to the temple again, but Jaigo knew it was coming! A block, a kick to the stomach, and a jawbreaker! These fans are going nuts! Jaigo removing the knucks from Shawn's right hand and putting them on. Dev has been freed from the ropes and he has Shawn up, he's holding him up for Jaigo! What a turn of events!

James Bates: DQ them Bryan! C'mon! Jaigo nails Shawn! He's rearing back for another! Oh no!

Marty Scott: Shawn moved and Dev got nailed! He's already busted open and he's out like a light! Shawn with a punch to the face of Jaigo and now a slap across the cheek! He spins him around and a Hangman's neckbreaker! He has him up again, looking Jaigo in the eyes, Shawn flashed him a grin!

James Bates: He locks him in.

Marty Scott: Hero's Suplex! Mercy there for the count!

1...
2...

James Bates: Dev broke it up! Dammit! Shawn stumbles to his feet in a bit of shock but he's not showing it. He blocks a right hand from Dev and locks him in, brainbuster! Out of nowhere Jaigo with a backroll press for the pin on Twilight! This is it!

1...
2...
3...

Marty Scott: Hold on Shawn squeezed out of it and reversed it into a front rollup! Mercy still down to make the count!

1...
2...
3...

James Bates: It's over! I told you so! I told you Marty!

Marty Scott: And what kind of pin was that at the end?! In the blink of an eye Shawn got a pinfall out of nowhere and Jaigo is in shock! Devastator has rolled to the outside shaking his head, he's just leaving in disgust, do you think he's going to hold a grudge against Jaigo?

James Bates: I would.....Shawn's got to face Jamie Williams now, what an uphill battle if there ever was one.

Craig Connors: Ladies and gentlemen, BEW fans around the world, your winner, Shawn Twilight! Now he moves onto face the reigning World champion who is making his way to the ring right now. Hailing from New York City, New York. He is the "Heir to the Future" and the leader of the BEW's MoA faction. He is the BEW World Heavyweight champion, he is Jamie Williams!

("Welcome to the Jungle" starts up and the fans begin to cheer and boo all the same. Jamie steps through the curtains and makes his way down. He is adorned in his street clothes. A leather coat. A black T-Shirt, a pair of black jeans and the golden medallion around his neck.

Slowly Jamie climbs into the ring. The belt sits on his shoulder. Turning towards Shawn Twilight he takes the mic.)

Jamie Williams: Too little too later. Too sick, too tired...it's all over with. It's too bad it had to end this way. The Future vs Forever. Regardless of how many times you may clash with Styx or any other Master it never would have been quite the same would it? I didn't think so. You know Shawn. I may still be a rook in your eyes...but don't let your ego, don't let your cockiness bury you. You think Im ripping you off? You think I want to be you? How wrong you are. How terribly wrong. If I'm ripping you off then you may attribute all my success to you. We all know the truth. Please forgive me Shawn. It just has to end this way.

(With that Jamie folds the title over and gestures for Shawn to take it. Shawn doesn't seem to want to believe it. Shaking his head he slowly accepts the title. Jamie turns simply and slides out of the ring. Slowly the curtain parts again. Jamie begins to make his way up as three figures step through. On the left is James Pope. On the right is Derek Steele. In the middle of them is one Big Hughy.

All four men look extremely solemn as Jamie makes his way up. Turning he looks out on the crowd. Turning again just as quickly the four men make their way through the curtain. The camera follows closely behind. The four men without speaking a word slowly make their way through the back. They walk with a steady pace and it isn't long before they reach a long black limo sitting in the driveway. Hughy opens the door and Pope and Steele get in. Suddenly as Jamie begins to duck inside he is stopped by Micheal Merrix. He charges down the ramp towards the limo as Jamie steps out.)

Micheal Merrix:Just what the hell do you think your doing? You have a title to defend. It's in the contract! You don't just go out and cancel a match people paid to see! You walk out and you're fired you understand me Williams?!

(Slowly Jamie steps back out of the limo. He removes a letter from the inside pocket of his leather coat. He hands it to President Merrix.)

Jamie Williams:Take this as my official resignation. Its too little too late. You'll have to forgive me now.

(Slowly Jamie turns and climbs back into the limo. Slamming the door the limo pulls out backwards before turning and speeding off into the night. The camera turns back to Micheal Merrix who looks slightly stunned but with a smirk on his face shaking his head. He curses under his breath and throws the paper down to the ground and walks back. We fade into the arena where "Hate Me Now" is blasting and fireworks are going off. The fans are cheering another wild and successful night of BEW action. Shawn stands in the ring with Drake and Sidney strapping the belt on. The camera catches Leon Wallace sitting down, as Leon notices the camera watching him he gets up and leaves.)

Craig Connors: The winner, and new BEW World Heavyweight champion, for a second time, Shawn Twilight!

Marty Scott: There you have it folks. Thank you all for being with us tonight, congratulations to the new champs and to all, a job well done. Where do we go from here? Jamie Williams gone from wrestling? Leon Wallace out for the World title? Mercy with a title shot? And what of the Revolution who had a horrendous night? You'll have to join us on Shockwave, for James Bates, the entire BEW crew, this is Marty Scott saying good night from Denver, Colorado.

OOC: Thank you Paul and Alan. Thanks for your patience everyone, sorry about the lateness, bad timing all around with final exams and work. But now I have alot more time so this shouldn't happen anymore, next Saturday is Shockwave, please start signing matches in the match signing guestbook so I don't have to do it myself. Thank you and good night.
