BEW Rules
This is the rulebook for Big East Wrestling. These rules will be enforced and have been made by the BEW front office. And those same people can change the rules at anytime. Rules have been kept to a minimum because this is about fun. But to keep order you need some guidelines so here we go.
1- The BEW is a "booked fed" meaning that you win by the roleplays you produce. As well as strategies you send in for events. Please note, strats only count when one party sends one in and the other party doesn't. The BEW President selects who wins and loses and any complaints must be sent to him through e-mail sent here. OOCs are allowed but dragging an issue on will result in suspension or just being booted from the BEW.
2- The BEW for the most part will be "R-Rated". Cursing, violence, etc. are allowed. But there is a standard. There will be a strict limit on any nudity or sexual situations in roleplays or at events. While it may happen, it is monitored. If you are offended easily please do not sign up.
3- One thing will result in immediate dismissal. Racism. The BEW does not condone or support this and if you do it you're gone. No question. So keep it clean.
4- Nobody may use another character in their roleplays. Or attack them without the permission of that character's handler. This is prohibited. If you do it your roleplay is not counted and you wasted your time.
5- Use of words such as "roleplay, flash, image, HTML, etc." is not allowed and your roleplay will not count. Also referring to "reading a roleplay" or comments about spelling or puncuation is prohibited. Again, this will result in you wasting time because the roleplay will not count and it will be deleted, you've been warned right here so don't complain about it later.
6- If two weeks pass without you roleplaying you are booted from the fed. No matter who you are. Unless you notify the prez or the front office first or they are aware of your situation.
7- No attacking handlers personally and for no reason in OOC rooms or through e-mails. You will be booted if you do this.
8- This is an originality only fed. No characters from real life please. No use of catch phrases or entrance musics either. You will not be allowed to join the BEW if you send in an application like this. We stress creativity.
9- No excessive flashing. There is a set limit of eight a week. No more then that.
10- There is a "quality not quantity" rule when roleplays are judged but this doesn't give anyone a defense if they lose to a person with longer interviews, again, you've been warned right here. Don't give a useless complaint later.
11- The BEW will discriminate against the lesser roleplayers. Sorry. But we would like to have our roleplayers be on a decent level of roleplaying when they join to make it competitive instead of one sided. You can't join without a decent background in roleplaying and e-fed wrestling.
12- When sending in a strategy for a card, strats must be sent to the BEW President and Vice President.
13- Of course the most important rule of all is HAVE FUN!
BEW World Title: This is the highest ranked title in the BEW. It will be defended at all pay per views and must be defended at four cards in between pay per views. The champion can decline any challenges up until a time when there are four defense opportunities left. After that they will be forced to defend the title or else will be stripped of the belt with continued refusal beyond that point.
BEW United States Title: This is the second highest ranked title in the BEW. It will be defended at all pay per views and must be defended at six cards in between pay per views. The champion can decline any challenges up until a time when there is two defense opportunities left. After that they will be forced to defend the title or else will be stripped of the belt with continued refusal beyond that point.
BEW Television Title: This is the third highest ranked title in the BEW. It will be defended at all pay per views and must be defended at all cards in between pay per views. Any refusals of a challenge will result in the champion being stripped of the belt. The champion will only be excused if they have a reason the front office has been notified of.
BEW Atlantic Title: This is the lowest ranked singles title in the BEW. Champions decide when and where to defend the title except at pay per views. If a champion continues to decline challenges and the BEW staff feels that it is a problem, the champ will be notified to defend or else stripped of the title.
BEW Hardcore Title: This is a "specialty" title for the brawlers of the BEW. This title can be defended at leisure but must be defended at pay per views.
Please note, there are NO title versus title matches in the BEW.
