| Like all SANFL Clubs, Sturt has lost a number of players to what
I jokingly refer to as the annual rape of the SANFL by the AFL. Since 1980,
twenty five players have played in the AFL. Seventeen of those victim to
the Draft process which started in 1991.
The past two seasons have been kind to Sturt. The 2001 saw the departure of just one player. This being the outstanding 2000 recruit Corey Jones. |
