STURT GRAND FINALS 1901 to 2001

Thomas Seymour Hill Cup The Double Blues since their formation in 1901 have contested twenty two grand finals, their first in 1910 their latest in 1998. On twelve occasions they have won the ultimate prize. 

On nine occasions has Sturt played against the SANFLs and Australia's most successful club, Port Adelaide. Five victories has Sturt achieved in  1915, 1966, 1967, 1968 and 1976. Sturt is the only club to have a positive win/loss  ratio in grand finals against Port. Sturts seven other victories have come against Glenelg in 1969, 1970 and 1974. Against North Adelaide in 1919, 1926 and 1932 and against South Adelaide in 1940.
