Summomers are one of the most underrated jobs in the game. Although their spells may be costly and time consuming, spells like Golem and Bahamut are worth it. One of the two drawbacks can be cancelled by either Short Charge (a time mage ability) or by Half of MP, an ability of the Summoner itself. Golem is one of the highlights of summoned creatures. It creates a physical barrier around ALL allies, reducing physical damage incredibly. The highlight of the attack spells is Bahamut. It is incredibly powerful, and although slow, it has a big enough range to hit most of the enemies in one casting, exposing them all to that powerful flame. Unfortunately, the HP values of Summoners are usually quite low, however, they usually take a backseat to the action, striking from afar. They are usually a powerful enough class to worm their way into a spot on the roster during Chapters 2 and 3 quite often.
